This field is very impressive, the owners and staff are very courteous, safety oriented but still allowed all players to have a great time. We played with a very diverse group, with some players that have been playing paintball since the early '90s along with a couple of 11 year olds out playing for the first time. The refs kept the teams fair so that the games were enjoyable. The refs also minimized downtime between games so that we were constantly able to get into a game. The prices are very fair and the field paint shot great!
River bottom assault has, by far, the nicest man made stuctures that I have ever seen in a paintball field. The main course is small frontier town with two rows of building separated by a road. These are not simply flimsy plywood structures, they are build out of solid lumber and are ready of years of use. My descriptions do not do it justice, check out the photo galleries on their website.
The other main field is a setup of several small cabins set in the woods, again, these cabins are build better than most boy scout camps. Also, there is sufficient natural cover as well. This includes woods, creekbeds and some brushpiles.
I strongly recomment this field to anyone and everyone. With such a tremendous facility, I plan to make Riverbottom Assault my main field.
