Okay to start out, Skyline Paintball is an amazing field/proshop to say at the least. The refs are friendly and very helpful. They make sure that you do not have to wait along time before you can go on the field and play. There is always a ref inside the chrono station so you never have to walk around the whole place to find someone to chrono you. There are also a lot of refs with walk- on and privite groups, which is great because they all make sure that there are no players playing on after being hit and making sure that the games flow smoothly.
The staff inside the proshop are awesome too!!!! The shop has everything you need and want. They have a wide selection of high quility paintballs and markers. The staff is great!!! They are very helpful and friendly. Skyline also has certifited gun techs that will help you in anyway they can. And if you buy your gun from Skyline they will fix any problem you may encounter with further down the road for FREE!!!!!!
Skyline has also just putting a brand new TURF speedball field!!!! This field is great, the turf has a professinal feel to it that is unmatched. There is a tournement held on it a almost every week.
Skyline has awesome and diverse walk- on fields too. Each field is different. Every field at skyline has it's own theme.
I have been to skyline almost every weekend now for quite a while so trust me, this is the only feild you will ever need.
Easy to find, and i came from out of state. Exit 298 off of 81, turn right at the mcdonalds onto radio station road and it's up on the left.
I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Blackcat scenario game, "G.I. Joe Vs Cobra" this past weekend at Skyline. It was my first scenario game, and my first trip to Skyline. I'd heard lots of good things about it so i was excited to see what they had to offer. As a beginner i'll tell you about my experience here.
Safety: At the initial "briefing" about the rules and what not they were very strict about googles and gun plugs. Refs reminded you when you left the playing area, or went on about what you needed. At no point was anyone rude about it, but they'd definately step into your way to tell you to cover your barrel if you were heading into the staging area. A+ job on that. Chrono's are in a batting cage area and are covered with netting, very safe. I wonder about the accuracy of some of the chrono's though since i made a ton of adjustments but they didn't register much change. maybe that's just my gun.
Fields: This field was by far the best and most advanced field i've ever seen; a true paintballer's dream. They have about 7 different fields of play, which were all combined together for the scenario. The town field is incredible with a ton of small buildings for you to play around and in. The rocket field has many obstacles as well as slopes on each side for sniping. By far the best field is the castle. Assaulting and defending it are so much fun. Trenches all around the castle give the attackers some chance, but if you can get a large group to play on that it's a lot of fun.
Hours: Although i played a 24 hour scenario, i saw that the rate is 10 bucks from 10-5, how can you beat that?
Prices: I can't speak for their normal rates because i didn't pay them. I payed my scenario entry fee and then the paint/air fee.
Service: Sue and Chris are both VERY nice people and i got a chance to talk to them ever so briefly. They obviously care about the players and everyone's enjoyment. And they've been doing it long enough to know how to do that.
Facilities: The main building where you get your paint, air, and other supplies is pretty basic. But it works just fine. Only saw 1 portopotty outside, but i never used it. Otherwise everything seems fine. Just a VERY long dusty dirt road to get to the actual fields.
In conclusion, i got to play at skyline all weekend with about 300 people. I had an absolute blast on these fields with their many variations and obstacles. I can hardly imagine a much better field for playing, they have certainly put the effort into this field and it shows. Just watch your footing because some of the terrain can be pretty brutal. Some of those hills i would NOT want to fall over, lol.
Different array of field and each field has a theme.
Favorite at the top and least at the bottom (my prefence)
Town - Bunch of building and the object of the game is to get the flag and hang it on the opponet side
Jungle - always watch your back becuase this field has a lot of places to hide and it a massacre
Rocket - there is a big rocket in the middle and a big hill on the side,
Helicopter - field with trenches and hills elimantion
Castle - attack and defend style, attacking was a pain as you need to climb the hill and storm on the castle while people inside are raining paintball down on you, go inside and touch the flag and you win, This course need skills and luck
The Staff were helpful and hours were great. from 10-5 and only 10 dollar to play.
Prices were cheap and all day air for 10 dollar and nitrogen rental 10 dollar!!!
Playes were friendly and came from everywhere to play,
This place is awsome there feilds cool and and different they have a town ,castle, helicopter ,rocket ship ,ewok village ,two air ball feilds (i have never played on them tho). the ref a relly nice they are stricked about all safety. the pro shop is awsome when im in it im a kid in a candy shop .the staff is very nice soacial ,helpfull
This field is the coolest!! It has a ton of fields and the airfield is actual air bunkers unlike paintball plus. I have played all the fields but 2. Because of thie prices and how much wwe liked it me and my friends are starting a three man team. The hours are excelent. They have you ready in about 30minutes withallof your gear.
their prices are great and you can bring alittle paint for you.
Skyline was very fun for our team (Mischief Kidz). The refs were great didn't have a problem with them once. The fields were great i like the new terf. The prices for the tournament was one of the cheapest. The rules were very fair. The netting was set-up easy to get in and out of the field.
PEVs, I dont see what the deal is. Sure, their fields are good, but the Refs are mean and that's what counts. Hogback. Okay fields, nice Refs.
Skyline Paintball is by FAR the best field I've ever played at!!! It's cheap (more or less) and every body there is nice. The safety rules are enforced nicely. The fields are awsome!!! especially Castle and Town. It took me an hour to get there but it was well worth it!!! I got to meet some new people too. This field is a must for any true paintballer. Out off my friends our top favorites were,
Ewok Village is a great course and we don't see why Skyline doesn't play it very often.
could someone tell me when Skyline is the least crowded because I liked it better with a smaller crowd. (5-12 people)

Hey it's me Phil. Skyline paintball is the best place in the area. Hands Down. The fields are great, people are nice, and playing there is just plain fun. The fields there offer a wide variety of challenges, each holding their own special challenge. The pro shop has most, if not all of what you need. And if they don't have it there or in their store in Winchester, they will order it for you. The prices there are fairly good compared to the others around. The on-site repair shop will help you fix you gun if you break it or need something put on. If you are passing through and are looking for a good place for paintball, this is the place to go. If your are in the area this is must go place. see u later Phil.
Finding the field was easy, and when we got there it was a little different than expected. We saw the castle on the drive in and were impressed. I am used to big nets all around the field (like Hurricane in Florida) and the only nets were around speedball. We played rec-ball all day, they call us walk-on's or something. Only chronoed once, maybe because it isn't as hot in Florida so not as much flux? im not sure. We got to play at most of the fields, some of them even twice. Paint wasn't too bad, all day air was fair price. The fields that I most remember are... The Rocket, this was pretty cool. First time I have ever play with elevation (don't forget im from Florida) We did this on both sides. The next one was the little fort that we did both ways attack and defend then vise versa. This was a cool game, more elevation, we got to shoot down into the base and had allot of fun in trying to defend and attack. Then the small city was neat (im spoiled with camp Blanding) for the make shift city it was very well made, had cars and such...very neat. Then the other main attraction was the castle. My gun messed up on this so I called myself out. The parts that I got to play on it were a blast though. I gave this field a 9 because of the singular chrono check and well, 10 is best and even though this field was VERY well run and put together... there is always room for improvement.
The accuracy of this review is disputed. Please see discussion on the comments page.
Period of Field Use:

Other Fields in the Area:
Knobley Farms, PEVS (both better)
Ok so heres the story. I played at this field 3 times and never got to play speedball there. So I ask the owner when speedball would be open and she said that speedball is open for walkons every saturday. So today (saturday) I go down to Skyline to play some speedball and try out my new gun. I get there and the bunkers are all deflated. This didn't bother me because I thought they would set them up. I went inside to ask and they talked to one of the boys working there and he said, "Yea I will do it when I feel like it." Ok this is when I get mad. So I wait for a while and they finally come out to set it up. After about a half hour he they quit and thats how it sits, just like that and it was no where near done. I walked back in and the owner said that it was not going to be opened that day. Wow talk about good customer service. Had it been someone that came to the field everyday they would have jumped right out there and set it up. I had 10 people dying to play speedball and had to settle for there rec fields.
Also, when the day was over and I had all day air I went back up to get my tank filled and they told me that air was closed and they were no longer filling. This would be ok had my friend not filled his tank literally 1 minute before this. The customer service is terrible, the people who run it are big headed jerks, and the refs are terrible. I will not be going back.
