Since I started paintball I have only played paintball at Camelot Paintball and Friendly Fire Paintball. When it comes to comparing the Hawks Nest to the fields I have been at they are in totally different categorizes. You have to remember the Hawks Nest is owned and operated by fellow paintballers so they know what its the best and its REAL woodsball not bunkers in the trees with no natural cover. They got everything you need to woodsball also.

Because they are a private paintball field there directions are on the website or by phone they have maps also. You need to become a member then ask to join up with them or check it out they will give u access to a special part of the website that gives you directions.
Review:
The Hawks Nest is a more non cooperate style paintball field you can say, they have no buildings that we think of with concrete floors and such, bunker wise though its good, and I like the safety zone they recently put up. They just finished a chronograph and accuracy range that's is easy to use. Rules are ordinary besides being private but its easy to join. They have three groups, visitors, trainees and staff. Visitors have to pay entry fees, trainees are almost like staff but are not yet.
Prices though can't be taken lightly. they HAVE the best prices around no competition. Let me tell u the prices, I rather go to the Hawks Nest and pay just $10 a month to play then $45 a day. I know that it dose not include co2 that's only 3.50 or less if you join them. When u become a trainee or staff member its only 2.50 for c02 and you can build bunkers and design them also.
Besides the stuff I listed above, I would like to thank there staff for being so nice. I was new to there field and they not only gave me a map but showed me around and asked if I wanted to stick with them during a game. One thing you should pay attention to is that they teach paintball also. They have classes in the summer that are relly good. I took one to see what it was like and I learned things I did not know, like night time paintball, winter paintball and such even nice tactics. The last thing is that they have a ton of game types and they are all awesome way better than stuff u see at other places.

There website crimsonpaintball.com has the directions including markers for google earth. You will not be able to access the directions unless you are a special member at the paintball field.
Review:
I do not know about other people but I am a woodsballer, I have played speedball at umass but its so boring. The Hawks Nest is made by paintballers and is always improving. There field is REAL woodsball and urban paintball. There urban center is not the biggest but its still fin to play in. There field is a good size and has enough bunkers in it. There staff is real nice and its perfect for the first time paintballers. They have rental equipment on the field and a C02 refill station. They have four paintball referees and are always fair and keep the games safe. Overall I rate this place better than most fields.
