My son and I started out playing at this field, every time we come we are greeted and treated as friends. We have played other places and they fail in comparison, staff, safety, and organization are very important and not over looked hear. Dan the owner is constantly changing and making DP different and more fun for every body. New players are treated as good as everyone else, I no because we were "noobs". If you need help or information their is a pro shop for repairs, if you need a part or a marker see Dan and he can get you anything. Prices are competitive and fair, check out their web page it lists time, directions, prices and hours of operation. I give the field a perfect score because I cant see how it could be any better
This was my first paintball experience outside of people's backyards, and i have to say that it was a blast. The refs, staff and players were all respectful and played fair, and this place got me hooked on paintball. The only bad thing was that i think the paint tasted horrible.
Delmarva has three fields: an indoor airball field, an outdoor airball field, and a woodsball field. Their woodsball field is the real draw: it has a fort, measuring about 40'x40' making for excellent attack and defend games. The refs and proshop staff are extremely friendly. As opposed to many other fields, Delmarva has actual bathrooms instead of Port-a-Jons.
Delmarva is field paint only but it's not so bad at $60/2000 balls. However, they offer all day air with your $10 session fee.
The Saturday afternoon that I was there, only about ten players were present, most of them in their early teens. If you enjoy small squad tactics, then this may be your place.
OK, this was the first time I have played at a field such as this (mainly played in the woods prior) but these guys were GREAT. I headed up a group of 80 teens in 2 different sessions last weekend and these guys were very professional and accomodating. The outdoor field was a blast and they told me that they are still updating it (we were the first to test the new fort). Now if I had one problem it would be the paint. They gave us a very good group price and therefore used a lesser quality paint but it was very oily and covered my gun, hopper and all with oil (extensive cleaning needed). We had a very good time and again the staff was great.
just a beginner but my friends say oc stinks so... i listened and had a party there it was sweet. paint was ok rhen now its great(i think) stop complaining about the prices now is 10 bucks for full day and UNLIMITED air fills. reff r nice and i luved it
well ive only been playing paintball since early october so actually 4 months.... anyway i got my first taste of paintball 2 years prior at OC paintball during a church lockout thing anyway. Delmarva paintball is so much better with there better prices and being 15 minutes away from my house these guys are great. The staff is very knowledgable on just about any kind of gun you bring in to them and the firefights in their indoor areana are quick and intense with an ever changing place to play week by week since they change the setup inside that often to keep it fresh. i havent gotten to play on the outdoor fields yet since i have only gone either when it was to cold or raining outside so i look forward to this in the spring. Also the tournament players here are not complete asshats like what i have seen when others come down for the delmarva paintball sponsered tournies good place to play and great staff you should try it out if you ever come by this way!
This used to me my favorite felid, but it has declined recently. they sld the indoor feild, so no more speedball all year around. because of this, the facilities have declined, and the shop is an outdoor shed. because there is a majority of woodsballers because of the outdoor change, the owner has pretty much given up on air ball and sold the aiball bunkers. its understandable financially for him but royally sucks for speedballers. teh team suffers because of that, and i dont get to practice with them now.
however, the woodsball feilds are pretty good, and because of the intrest, many ore new scenario or woodsball feilds are to come. price are average to good.
as others have said, the emloyees and refs are not very involved, and really dont care what you do or if you chrono. its mostly just a trust thing. this was not the case. there used to be a huge staff of very involved refs who did thier job exceptionally.
because of these changes, talented players and teams dont really go, so its not very fun for poeple of great skill levels. its mostly just woods ball newbs. so not very fun for me, plus i find most woodsball newbs who think tehy are teh sh*t tend to cheat more, so ihave a lot more arguements or problems with players on the feild who cheat and the refs cant do anything cause they didnt see it (cause they arent involved).
was a great feild. i still go cause it is the only major organized feild near me, but it is changed a lot since i first began going.

this field is awesome. The refs and shop guys are cool. They can tell you what you need to know about any gun. The field is nice to. The airball is sweet and it is cool how they switch the bunkers around all of the time so the field is never the same as the last time you were there. The prices are fair and the field paint is good. I give this field a 10.
i would go higher but you can't.
This field was awsome i played there about a year and a half ago and it was def the best time i had on my vacation in oc. The refs there were awsome and few guys from there team played a few games with us. I really like the field layout as well. The only bad thing is there site is down. I Next time in in oc im def goin here.
