Review:
I've lived and played in Jersey long enough to know that Cousins overcharges you for just about everything.
Let me start off by saying the only reason I played this field was because a first timer buddy signed up a group for here of just under 20 people.
The deal he got was:
$49.99 Per Person.
3 Hour Session
Includes:
• 500 Paintballs per person
• High Quality Semi Automatic Paintgun
• Initial Co2 air fill (20 oz.)
• Goggles and Mask system
• Private field
I had all my own gear w/ N2, but the majority of people playing that day they had to deal with paying $4 every time they refilled their rental Co2 tanks. Then came the realization that 500 paintballs was not going to get them through the entire day.
Knowing that 500 balls was good for maybe a hopper and maybe 2 pods, I did what seemed logical and called up Cousins a few days before to ask about paint prices by the case. Since we had a good size group going and were already overpaying for our "group rate" I thought that like any other business, there was some wiggle room to work with.
Especially since a 2k case of paint was $70.99 + tax. Just an outrageous price to pay for paint. The manager Fred was no help at all. He told me the only way we could get a discount was if we prepaid for 10 cases of paint. I almost told him to go F himself right there and then, but since this was not my group party I decided to not create any waves and just talk to him face to face when I arrived on Saturday morning to play with my group. Of course we got no discount at all.
After handing over $80 for a case of Draxxus paintballs I swore to myself I would never ever come back to this field again.
Hardest part of that day was seeing a dad tell his son, "Sorry we can't buy another case of paint here."
There are atleast 10 fields near this place that are more affordable, better run, and show more love for groups than Cousins. Check them out before you ever think of going here.
Just saw that this field had no reviews and I use this website often so wanted to be the first to say place is great. Went there for Dark Ops in Nov and had a blast. Refs were great with the amount of players and the front staff does a great job. Fields are big and set up nicely. Cousins does a reduced price if you pre-register which is nice $60 for the day w/ a case. Players were very honest and didn't see any cheating....
