Went there in the summer of 2007, just before the speedball field went in. The netting was on the ground even. I liked the woods, there were about 20 people there, so there was a lot of paint flying. The owner was really cool, his helper was a little slow, but we managed to put up with him. I'll plan on going back there this summer for sure.
With this many fields in a close proxemity, SIS, Pro and Rapidfire have all found their niche, Rapidfire is a great little rec ball field. Mostly walk ons and renters. The main ref at the field, (Midnight from Blackthorn) is both friendly and knowledgable. Full respect towards safety is given at the field, with well maintained rentel equip.
never played anywhere else in the county only places in or around bellevill (bunkers, pro advantage)
Directions to the Field:
off highway 62 head ont gilead road and follow it you should see a sign on the left.
make reservations first or hope another group is playuing that day otherwise u might show up and no one will be there

i've played at rapid fire for a while going 1-2 times or more every summer. when i used to rent i loved their rentals as i had no problems (i was used to the pirhanas from bunkers which were iffy). the guns are or at least were in great working condition last time i rented.
their paint was usually good untill the last time i went . they had worr paint it was orange and probably the worst paint i've ever shot. i got to within a bout 10 feet of a bunker were this girl was and moved up to bunker her . i whatched three of my shots hit her in the chest. she went back into the bunker when i backed off and i started yelling at her that she was hit. she stood up and i saw green in an odd shape on her chest i went in to point out where she was obviously hit and it was a design on her shirt. nothing had popped and i had whatched at least one shot go straight in. i still had some when i got home and i took it out of my pod. everey shot was malformed being thinner on one side than the other. if youve ever dropped paint you know it bounces about half the height you drop it from and if u throw it at a hard surface it'll break. if you drop this paint it bounces about twice and stops and my friends and i threw it as hard as we could on the road in front of my house and it didn't pop. i stepped on it and it took a while for the ball to burst.
the only other problem i have with the field is that you only get one free CO2 refill. this isn't really a problem because they have to make money but it sucks because anyone who shoots alot or as a gun that uses alot of CO2 like mine (A-5) you generally need more CO2 and with paint at 120% a case theres not much vcash left over after registration and paint.
besides CO2 and paint rapid fire is one of my favorite firlds. they only have a single field to play on but its pretty big and every round feels diffrent as they play a variety of senarios and odds are you pick a side and stick to it. they could use some more bunkers on the right side when you come in but the area with the "tower" (the big central bunker you defend in attack and defend) can get some pretty hardcore fire fights. theres also a perfect amount of brush and coselment if you feel like being A scout sniper.
the staff their are friendly and knowledgable. you can order stuff from dan and get deals but they have no pro shop and the stagging are is some picnic tables with a building where they store their supplies.
they had a speedball field only one year that i went but holy crap last year they had a small corn maze you could play in and it was amazing one of the best fields i've ever played on for the sheer speed and proximity of the games.
i'll give it an 8/10 becasue of the crappy paint and the proce of CO2 and paint but besides that an excellent field that i hope will be around for a while.
This field is very good for a newer field run by a young man. Dan now has a speedball field and he is going to sell memberships. The field paint is pretty good and is pretty cheap. He has made a nice field and he is pretty much the only field in the area. The field is pretty hard to find but it is nice once you get there.
good fields great prices good rentals ok paint. not alot of fields no speed ball. lots of bunkers in the one field good for attack and defend ( i bunker'd the last defender hehehe).
Only has Co2 doesn't advertize enough so we could go back cause we couldn't find it (we went there when we were camping at sand banks).
- Top gun Paintball
- One near the Cement Plant (dont know it's name)

Rapidfire paintball is a young field, that is increasing in popularity as the years go by. The service at Rapidfire Paintball is excellent, the owner know's what he is doing and runs a great field. New Spyder Victor rental markers and V-Force Masks have been purchased and work is always being done to improve the field. I've been around the field pretty much since it's openned and It's great to see how Dan has introduced paintball to the county. The field still needs work, but with the course of the coming summer the field will see many great improvements.
For information on the field or if you are interested in entering/participating in our new speedball league, please mail me at eric@rapidfirepaintball.ca
this field is fairly good dan lets u get away with anything like there is supposed to be a ball fee if u use ur own and he dont care he just lets u use them and he sometimes lets ppl use his gun as for the feild its ok lots of cover and bunkers but one side is kinda better than the other.i recomend u go to this field.
None really. Except this one on Wooler road that Chad from Electronics Boutique told us about that didn't end up being anything like he described.

Good field with a realistic atmosphere. Great place for people to learn how to play paintball with decent rental guns. Prices are excellent. This was the first field I ever played paintball on and I continue to do so on a monthly basis. It may not be the best field in the world but damn it it has class. Dan is the man.
It is a pretty good and easy field to play on. The field is a work in progress and every time I go it gets slightly better. Last time i was really drunk so i can't remember if the field was better, but my playing skills sure were. The owner Dan is a good guy. Prices are fairly good.

The field is ok, definately could use a speedball field. Prices arent bad at all (evidently Dan has never heard of profit). All in all i would have to say that Dan is doing a pretty good job of bringing paintball into the county, now i am not saying its an amazing field but its still fun.
