Review: For you people that don't like the pit obviously you have not played at Paintball Valley or at dark armies. Those places are Horribly expensive. The prices at the pit are cheap and who cares about how long it takes for the rules. At least they even care about safety. The couple of times I have played at Paintball Valley they didn't even see if every one had a barrel plug or barrel condom. DON'T BE HATING ON ROD. If you get to know him, he will just, about do anything to help you with your problems.

Review: I would love to recommend this field to any paintballers in the Indianapolis/central indiana area. The Gator Pit is run professionally and safety is one of the main concerns. The safety brief lasts for around ten minutes, not eating into much playing time. During the summer, they usually run a 3 man tournament series, and during the winter, the 5-Man Winter League.

So far I have played three of the fields, Spool, Concrete, Tire, and love them all. They are all set up skillfully and offer to give everyone a great day of play.

Lastly, no one can beat the prices, the entry fees are very minmal:
$15-Bring your own gear, bring your own paint, free Co2, N2 fills.
$20-Rental fees(mask, marker, all-day air)

And the paint price is $15 for 500 rounds, a good, average price.

All in all, I would recommend this field to any player in the area.

Review: SUCKED WILL NEVER GO EVER AGAIN. obviously this man emphasizes on safety, because it said we start the speach at one and get on right after. i didn't know right after meant 30 minutes later. good prices i must say but there is an extreme lack of trust between the owner and experienced players. We were not allowed to play on the tourny field by ourselves and not allowed to even go away from the wooded field. Two groups of at least 60 people (30 on a team). I shot people like mad but they just kept comming. Advanced need to be allowed on their own if they ask so and if you have an EXTRA field.

White River in Anderson is much smaller but the price is the same.
paint ball barn is larger in size and has more field choices but not near the amount of people and both require you to buy there paint but the prices are not bad 50 - 65 a case depending want you want.
Review: Safety is A-1 here if you have any Question after the briefing u need to take up knitting or something cause you are to stupid to be here. the staging area was very large with lots of spools for you to set up your stuff on. Every one chronos before each game and groups are broken to groups more experienced players in one group to play against each other and newbies with a few team players to help out in another group which is really good so the poor newbie are not tagged 30 seconds. only got to play to of the field's here today the rest were damaged by a storm early in the week and should be opened by next weekend the first field we played was the concrete tube field (no head first dive here) set up like an evil x field it was great mid size field with 13 per team it was really as crowed as i thought it would be. the other field is the spool field if you want to lose some weight play this field all day its huge with plenty of coverage even for a guy like me 6'4 300lbs. Parking is on asphalt staff and refs are great pops 50 cents and large bottled water is a buck 15.00 for all day field and air this is a great place to play. And the best part is bring your own paint. the cheap way to play.

Dark Armies (I've only heard bad things about this field, but I've never been there myself)
Splatter Zone (I've heard goods and bads for this field, but also haven't ever actually played there)

from what i've heard, niether of these fileds even compare to The Gator Pit!
Review: Ok, I've been playing paintball for a while now and this is the only field that i have ever played at and from what i hear about other fields this one blows the others out of the water. Anyways, when i first went to this field (it was my first time so...i was a lil scared) the refs and employees treated me like a pro even tho i was a noob. That made me feel a little bit more comfortable. The really strong points of The Gator Pit are: 1.They make new fields every now and then 2. REALLY nice and professional employees and refs. 3.fairly clean (because it is outdoors lol) 4. Owners explain the rules and make them strictly enforced so that players kno not to break them or they will be penalized.

Honestly i found NO weakpoints in the fields or service.....so i give this field a perfect 10

Review: Gatro pit is the best place i've been to in Indiana. The people are great the pros are helpful and give u great trips. The workers enforce the rules so theres no cheaters. My friends and i go there alot. they have four fields and just made a new Tire field. Concrete Jungle my favorite though. the place is The BEST.

Review: This field is a medium size field with 4 fields. There is a spool field, a large one, and 2 speed ball fields, concrete and tire. I love this place. The fields are all very well balanced. What makes this place special is the fact that they dont rip you off here. A case is just $60!!!!!!!!!!! Even the pop is just 50 cents. Even better you can its BYOP every sat and sun with free co2 or n2. I dont know any place that does this. My team and I go here every week now.

ive played at dark armies and its horrible i mean 10 cents a ball..... are you kidding me?? we have our own feild that we go to alot but the pit is defietatly better. dark armies claims the prices are so high because they are "making imporivments to the facility" but ive ben polaying there for 3 years and i have seen one thing change in that nasty dirty over priced pa
Review: here is my veiw of the pit versues dark armies....dark armies claims the prices are so high because they are "making imporivments to the facility" but ive ben playing there for 3 years and i havent seen one thing change in that nasty dirty over priced place. the only way you can go to dark armies without spending all you money is to go on the coupon day or your going to spend almost 100$ in one day. but at the pit you spend 10 dollars bring your own paint and have fun dark armies is horrible i dont no about hte splatter zone but ive herd its small but at least its clean dark armies is nasty. the pit has soo many feilds as dark armies only has one. at dark armies you slip all over paintb they dont clean up. GO TO THE PIT AND PLAY DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT DARK ARMIES
