Review: first off disregard my times playing at this field never been there, and for the rating through it out as well i ref Paintball at the beach and the guy that had to wait 20 min between games has not been there when i have walk on, if you wait 5 min it's too long in my book and your field prices are nuts there not cheap their the same as wasaga so through that idea out and your membership thats a rip at the beach if your a member you do not pay an entry fee and it,s six cent paint no matter what amount you buy

Review: now i have been playing at barrie paint ball for over two years now and i'm also a member of the leage play that takes place there and i have never seen a better place to play. the next closest place is wasaga beach paintball adventure and it's not bad but barrie paintball takes the cake and this is coming from a guy who has been in the military for the last 7 yrs and i can't think of a better place to train and hone my skills for the infantry, and for some weak kneed lack wit (die hard paintbal) to give this field a 1 out 10 in disgusting he must not know his arse from a hole in the ground because it is definitely a 10 out fo 10. as well for him to say that the prices suck is retarded barrie paintball is one of the cheapest places to play their prices are excellent the only way that you can spend alot of money there is if you can't shoot and hit your mark and have to keep buying ammo because you suck, and die hard paintbal if you read this and you have a problem or disagree with what i'm saying come on out to barrie paintball on Aug 9th and i'll show you a thing or two what paintball is all about and believe you me you will die hard my friend.

Review: Hey, i think everyone is underrating Barrie Paintball, ok, i think everyone can agree that the staff there is amazing, the owner is always there and is willing to help with anything. His son Ryan is very friendly, and is a great ref, and shoots a sweet gun which he is not a jerk about, he lets me handle it, and always is happy to talk to people. What we can agree on is that the prices in his proshop are awful. 749 CD for an A5 with an RT and double trigger? what, are you kidding me? I just bought an A5 sniper package with R/T for 691! and that includes a remote flatline and stock! plus i just sold the remote for 100, so i got the same gun, with a flatline barrel and CAR stock for 591! Anyway back to the field...Its got over a dozen amazing fields. Ho Chi Min is the only one that could be improved upon, but that is in progress. Let me see, The Town is amazing so many buildings, such an amazing field, not like wasagas crap town with like, 8 buildings! Barrie's town is massive, probably 300 obstacles. Cars, buildings, catwalks, Tons of bunkers, trenches ETC. Another great field is the Castle, most people don't like it but they don't know the little tricks that make it great. For you barrie players, first off, when you are on the high side of the castle, get to the Trench with the sandbags along the front of it, lined up with the center of the castle. Then look for a little spot in the bottom of the wall where there is no wood, you can snipe peoples feet all day. Also on the side of the castle closest to the main safe zone there is a huge hill. If you can get to it you have a clear view of the door...boom sitting ducks. Then, the valley is amazing, a bus and an army trailer at opposite sides of a small valley with tons of obstacles in it. Countless games can be played here, and it is amazingly fun trying to take the bus. Hmmmm, they have 3 hill fields Hamburger Hill, Heartbreak Ridge and Vimy Ridge. Hamburger hill....wow....it is so much fun playing this field...whether attacking or defending i get excited when the ref announces we are going to hamburger next. Vimy is a very good field too, it is very difficult to take the top but if you go about it right the defenders don't know what hit em and you can get in from the side, and they are toast. Heartbreak is one of the best fields i have ever played, it is perfectly set up. There is a large cabin at the top and a hill surrounding it on all sides. taking the hill is tough, defending it is even tougher. Anyway this is getting too long so i will end it. GO TO BARRIE PAINTBALL IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GREAT TIME! plain and simple.

Played at Flagraiders in Cambridge, Ontario....had a good time at Flagraiders although in the dead of summer there is no shade and some of the other players (appeared to be regulars) on the field had questionable paintball ethics....I've yet to have issues with any players at Barrie.

Played at DMZ in Niagara....super nice staff although the fields are small...Barrie has spoiled me with big fields.

Played at Wasaga....good staff and good fields but WAY too much hiking about to get to fields. In Barrie you go onto field and generally play two games then return...in Wasaga you play one game and return so alot of time is spend hiking to fields instead of playing.
Review: From the first time I played at Barrie I was impressed. It's a very large, wooded and nicely set-up field. Great staff, good prices and I've yet to have a bad experience there. The referee's are great and very fair and the owners are consistently adding fields and props to the fields.

I don't even mind the 1.5 hour drive to get there as it's well well worth it...I highly recommend this field.

Review: I have played on most of the bigger outdoor fields from Niagara falls to Ottawa and this is the best place to go and play paintball so far

1st
The ppl there. Amazing, very friendly. Owners are very friendly, refs are very god, everybody is happy to be there and help you out. There is a big fenced of area for target practice and chroning your guns. There are lockers where you can lock your stuff *FREE* , bring your lock though. They sold diablo paintbals only with very good deals on cases which you can split on with other ppl.

2nd
Fields. Amazing. Very good setup of very balanced fields. Almost every field is unique but regardless of which side you are on both teams have about the same advantages.

3rd
Large staging area and BBQ lunch area.

4th
No long waits between games. Ones you go out in the field you play at least 2 rounds (switch sides) and if everyone is OK on paint and air you play more or even play another field rigth there. Not like wassga with 20 min between 1 ONE round.

They even have changing rooms.

One thing they could upgrade on is the washroom. Not like there isn't one its just that they have those portable ones, but you are out in the woods i guess.

I don't know. I just like the ppl there and field setups.

Give this place a try, you;ll have a good day of PB.
