this is one of the best woodsball places to go- especially when u have the big game and open games r fun too. the cool part about the place is that they bring u back to the place in a WWII jeep. the jeep is really cool and it brings u to the feild which is like a half-mile away from where u park. the price is nice for what u get. this is the place!!!!!! GOOOO
My firends and I have been tryin to go to Special Forces for quite some time. We finally went at an open game. At first its kind of weird because u have to take a transprt truck there, but it was the most fun ive ever had. As soon as i got out there i was having fun. All of the feilds were fun challenging etc. The prices were right, 20 bucks for 6 hrs and all day air (at an open game). And 15 $$ for 500. What a deal. It was muddy when i went, but that was half the fun. I am most definetly going back there.

I have not played at other feilds but at freinds houses
This is the best feild to play at, the staff are not the kind that if you do something wrong they wont call you on it. Myth busters: you can bring your own paint but i almost would rather buy the feild paint as it is PMI Premium and is 10 bucks for 500balls. If you are looking for a place that is clean and neat, this is not the place. But if you are looking for top notch staff and feilds this is the place. I have gone there for group reservations and the little big game ( About 25 people on each team) and would like to go to the BIG GAME which has about 100 people on each team. The area is in a wetland so it is a little muddy during spring or rain. The rental guns are 98 Customs with HPA. Unlimited CO2 for 5 bucks!!! All in all my best paintball experiance was here. A great place. Mud==>9out of 10

i love special forces i live in Minnesota and buffalo so its supper easy. iam wringhting this for future people cause i work there iam a reff i have a pmi and when i play i own cause i no it like the back of my hand.but eney way it so sweet they take u there in a army truck and it gets your hart pumping u get set up at the camp area and u lay a privet game is the same as a open game except u play with your bud's or people u want to play with or family.big gamers are assume 150 people vrs 150 people running around getting in the boat or ruck getting lit up it all good. and its so realist its almost u get shell shock it that hard and fun they have 6 diff rent fiels and they connect the in the big game but in open games they have separate game that are like 10 a day i don't no about u but this is my favorite Field i have played at so far!!
this place is sweet. i played at there big game last spring and had a blast. it wasn't to expensive and i can bring nice marbs or somthing instead of using crappy field paint. there feilds are cool and there big games are to die for. i recomend playing as a rec baller first then play a big game becuase i got lost my first time out in the big game. i don't like milliary theme of paintball but thats a die hard woods player for you, they love it as realistic as possible. I don't care a day with the paintslingers at FSL and a day in the brush with a pump, it's all the same to me.
Speacial Forces, all i have to say is excellent, excellent this place is so good. I went to SF with my school and yes it was a little muddy but that was the great woodsball experience, when we got their we did not know how to get down to the fields but when about 10 min. passed two hummers came to bring us down to the fields and that by itself was a experience. But when we got down to the areas and started playing the refs were some of the nicest people i've met in paintball. But all in all this has to be the best woodsball place i've seen.
have not played at any other but this is the best place
this place is the best paintball place ever i have only played once but this place got me hooked i actually went on d-day at there open game play.and im going back whenever i can. when you get there you take a ride in there WWll jeeps down a bumpy path. when i played we played 3 courses i was on the orange team we were either won or tied, the best field was probably the one were the other team got in the boats it was kind of like d-day all over again, they had two have all the remaining members of there team touch the castle, we ended up wining that one with like 6 people left and sometimes they play with medics, another match was a not so great field we played like 5 times in a row and we had stormed down a hill to get them from behind when we were pinned down we finally got him but then some kid had all his paintball fly out of his hopper.but in all i would definitely go back its so fun and CHEAP.
This Is A Sweet P-Ball Field I Live Here So It's Sweet I Have Went There alot now The Fields R Great Very Fun And Lots Of Things To Hide Behind And is a fairly large outdoor wooded field and the owner is sweet the refs r ok but still they know paintball the rental guns i had to use once where actually really good and where powered by nitro and the guns where tippman 98 customs they where a little worn but wat p ball field rental guns arent?? also it Is VERY LOW IN COST it's $15 if u got everything and like $25 if u don't and unlimited co2 for $7 dollars I believe Overall this Field Is Sweet I Encourange You to go if you live near Buffalo,MN It's worth a 2 hour drive :) Maybe I Will See You At A Open Game See ya soon!
The truck ride out is a cool deal. Kind of gives you that real diployment feeling. Like your really going to accomplish something. The fields are laid out with natural surfaces used as bunkers. So you have logs and dirt verses Plywood and 2 x 4's. This makes it feel more real. We played there last Fall when the leaves were dropping. You could find most of the bunkers quite easily. This place is probably much more fun in the Summer when all the trees and shrubs are green. The staff was top notch from the time we arrived. They took time to help out some of the younger kids that were playing there. They even stayed patient with the kid who was asking 2000 questions. I feel for an outdoor place near the Twin Cities this place is by far the best. You won't regret going to SF. Bythe way sorry it took so long to post. I got shipped over seas!
Special Forces is what got me into the sport; from the first day I played there I knew I'd be hooked for life. Since then I make it a point to come back at least a few times a summer (in spite of the almost two hour drive).
Maybe it's just nostalgia, but no outdoor field has compared up to this point. SF staff is very, very friendly, the fields are HUGE and well laid out, and the bunkers have a great sense of authenticity. Everything, from the truck ride at the beginning, to the staging area, to the game organization just reeks of professionalism. The guys who work at SF clearly love paintball and really want to spread the love.
In the three years I've played at SF, I haven't had a single bad experience. Well, aside from the heat-seeking, bat-sized vampiric mosquito population that lives out in the woods. But that's just Minnesota.
