by far and away the best field in the Omaha, lincoln area. the owners are the best and make sure everyone is playing by the rules and being safe. Bill runs a fist class operation and every player should check them out. Thanks for another awesome season Bill. see you next year.
When I first got there I was imediately impressed with their spool field. I have never sceen a spool field like it before. There are numerous places to hide. Including two forts and a car to hide in/behind. Secondly, the staff and the refs are very nice. The refs ref a clean but fair game and the staff are very nice. Also their air tech fixes guns very quickly. In the times that I have played here there are always at least 40 people there. I would reccomend this place to anyone.
I have played at every local field in the area. They all have their pluses and minuses, but things have been getting better with all of the fields in the past few months.
Directions to the Field:
Directions are on their website. You can also call them and ask if you aren't sure.
One of the great things about Madcow is its versatility. By this I mean the you can play woodsball on one of their 3 very different fields, you can play speedball on their spool fields (different game if you haven't tried it), or you can play on their airball field. Madcow has some of the best prices in the area. To top it all off the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. On several occasions I have seen them loan equipment to players (when their personal stuff breaks down) free of charge. If you are looking for great tournament teams at the top of their game then go to Metro paintball games. If you are looking to have a great time and meet some amazing people while playing woodsball then Madcow is hard to beat.
I really enjoyed their woodsball field and they have pretty good paint with a decent price on it! I have never tried their speedball field but it looks really nice, I am just more of a woodsballer. They are big on safety here, every new player to the field must watch a safety/instructional video and guns are chrnoed in a safely netted area. The refs are friendly and keep the match safe and fair.

Before arriving at Mad Cow Paintball, I had pretty high expectations. I was a frequent player at some of the most well known and established fields in the country, located in Florida and Texas. I hadn't played paintball in a year+ due to military orders to Korea, and was itching to dust off my gear and play.
Unfortunatly for me, I had totally forgot that I had let a friend of mine borrow my tank and I never got it back before I moved. Fortunatly though, the staff at Mad Cow was very helpfull and let me use one of thier compressed air tanks at no charge. The staff was very nice and the family run atmosphere made me feel right at home. Which I can appreciate very much, because to me theres nothing worse then getting to a field and being surrounded by paintball elitists, which has happened to me several times.
The field's I played on were top notch. The woodsball field was great, lots of cover, woodsy, lots of hills and overall just a very nice variety of terrain in a small area, that's what makes a good paintball field in general.
Next I played a game on a huge field of spools. Brought back some memories of years ago, since it had been a while since I had played on a similar course. Great fun, finally took a few to the shoulder here, ill have to actually walk the field next time.
Paint prices are reasonable. Last time I bought a case of paint i'm pretty sure It was about 60 dollars. It was around 45 for a case and 13 or so for 500. Three different grades for you fussy types, with any type of marker.
The referee that day was nice and told me about the diffrent days and when they get busier and when the scenario games are, etc.
It would have been nice to have some kind of shelter from the elements/heat. It did get kind of hot that day, with a nice breeze, however, some sort of pavillion or shelter to sit under while doing marker maintenance or taking a break or something would be ideal. Would have been interesting if it would have rained that day, and all 20-30 of us that were there had to cram into that barn or something.
Some organization would be great too. As in when games start and such. Most fields i've been to, the ref's going around and will announce when specific games, or series's of games will start, and what fields they will be held on.
I guess thats all I have to say, mostly nitpicking, you really can't ask for more honestly, I mean, its a paintball field, it'd be nice if people served you cold beers, but you go there to play paintball, not get a buzz.
I bought a season pass, and will be back for some more paintball.
This is an overall excellent field. There are many different ways and styles to play on the fields. Normally I am a woods ball player, there is no way I can walk a tippy, but they joined up the two spool courses which made for a very large and interesting game. Just to tell of the flexibility they allowed the players to play a 8 on 30 game at the castle (The eight ended up winning). Also, to tell of the people that play there, I have multiple guns between my brother and I, and I can just leave them out in the open by the Speed ball fields and go play woods ball the entire day, come back and find absolutely nothing missing. The staff is fantastic and the people are great there too. Come try out this field if you really want to have fun and just relax while playing paintball, but I guess that paintball isn't that relaxing, just stress relieving!
This is one of the better fields i have played, the rufs were friendly and very helpful. Admission was cheap and the fields were set up to benefit not only expierenced players but new comers as well. i will definately be returning to mad cow to play much more often in the follow months and i definately recomend it for anyone new or expierenced to try out. you will have the most ultimate paint ball expierence at this field for next to nothing.
The have pretty good sized fields. I have only played here twice, and both times I had a great time. The refs were ok, but could of been better, a few players were wipping paint and didnt get, they were busted a few times. They had 3 fields set up, and had games going on all 3, so there was always a game going on that you could jump in on. They only really played one type of game, elimination. Even though I have only played at one other field in this area, the other field offered more games such as (speed ball, xball, attack and defend, capture the flag, elimination, and a few others. It would be nice to see more types of games offered. Their fields are great, not alot of crap in the timber filed. The air ball fields were set up pretty nice. The seond time I was out, it was with a group of about 10 I went out with, we were the only ones that showed up that day, so we played 5 on 5. The owner is real nice, we had a couple guys that brought there own guns, and when 3 of them went out, he gave us rentals to use at no charge. I had a great time and would recommend this field to anyone wanting to go out and have a good time.
This is by far the best field in Nebraska. The place is family owned and operated and the owner is really nice. Mad Cow has some of the cheapest prices around and they allow you to bring your own paint. The entry fee is $10.00 if you buy their paint, and $15.00 if you bring your own. A case of 2,000 paint is $45.00 and a bag of 500 is $12.00 (They use Karnage paint balls in case you were wondering). You can also rent equipment and markers. They are open from 10:00am until dark on Saturdays and 10:00am until 5:00pm Sundays. There were roughly six fields in operation the two times I went. There is a castle course, a trench course, a large woods ball course, two spool courses, and a speed ball course. The fields are always well maintained and well refed. If you are looking for a good field to play at and you don't want to spent 200 bucks every time you go, then I highly recommend Mad Cow.
Great place to go and have a great time.
A very fun and easy going place to go and play.
Bring a tent and have a great time with your friends.
We were there on Saturday from 11:00am to 3:30pm.
I fill that Mad cow does a great job of making sure that averyone plays safe and has fun!!
