Dynamic Games Paintball Supply (DGS) Paintball Field
Tried to play at Wild Bills but no one was on duty.
Dynamic games is the best paintball feild within my known region. Every other player that goes to DGS tells me how bad service and overpricing abound at other paintball feilds, but not at DGS. At DGS, the paintballs are cheaper, the people are nicer (George is cool) and the atmosphere is focused on playing not selling. The field is rearranged every week or so, which helps keep players on thier toes. Overall, if you want to have a good time, come to DGS.
twin bridges not even a contest dgs wipes them up. Wild bills is about the same thing. Wildfire doesnt compare either. apc never been there.
This place is the bomb! They have an air ball field and another field (I don't know what you would call it cause it had some pretty funky bunkers). There service was awesome. They had lots of knowledge about different guns. and they helped me fix my gun. there prices are the bomb as well about the cheapest in my area. The air ball field is nicely set up with plenty of bunkers. They refs don't care who you are they are fair. They did an awesome job of explaining everything. This place has very good competition. The people here aren't stuck up like at other places. They have a nice proshop with lots of equipment and such to choose from. They only problem I found was that I went with a big group and it took a good 30 minutes to get everybody ready. This place is awesome and I will defiantly be coming back.
The place is great. They have a fully stocked proshop all the time and there are always people own your own experience level to play. They have two fields, a hyperball and an airball couse. the hyperball field is okay but its kind of small and takes along time to dry after it rains. and only two of the bunkers are taller than me and i end up getting shot in the head. The airball field is really good and is preatty big and the always chang the field around. But somethmes the bunkers are somwhat deflated and people with metal cleats pop them.
APC (American Paintball Club) just opened up. Its nice and big, but DGS was first and is the best field in Barrow County.
Ok, so your looking for a paintball field in the Barrow County area? Well, DGS is the place to go, its got great customer service, great fields, low low prices, and an awesome pro-shop. And, their are always teams or just regular people there to play, ALWAYS. Currently they have two fields a hyperball and an X-ball for competition. Basically the X-ball is for 5 mans and up to 10 man teams. If your looking for a 3 man field then the hyperball field is AWESOME. The fields are rearranged every week or so to keep you on the edge, you'll learn alot from practicing here. And, if you looking for some tips then, the teams that play there and the players are awesome and they'll help you get better and help you play smarter.
I have to say this is the best field i have played at in a long time!! they always have people there playing!!! they have a good pro shop! 2 good air ball field none of that woods krap!!! this is one of the best places i have ever played! George is one of nicest owners u will meet! every1 out there is really friendly! CHEAP too! the only thing they need is to have tournys out there and they will be owning GEORGIA for top 10 best fields!!
I played at this field this weekend and I have to say that I don't know why some of you guys are giving it a 3-4 ranking. This place was great. The staff was VERY VERY friendly and the shop was good. It could have been better but they just moved it from the old shop. They had two fields. A small hyperball field and a NPPL registered field. The NPPL field is where they hold all kinds of NPPL tournaments and where the UGA team plays. Some people complain that you couldn't BYOP but you would have to buy it somewhere right? Well what's the difference between buying it at someplace then bringing it there or just buying it there? You still have to buy it. And the prices were great. Overall I wouldn't give this field anything under a 10.
good field and all. but it did have it goods and bads
pros:great field, that is it
cons: it was extremly muddy. i lfet coved up to my head in mudd and it was slippery. there was no grass. only one field was up and running. why not go to ultimat that has 2 airball field, 1 x-ball, 3 spools, 1 mounds field, and hyperball. and this place has alot of woods around it. hello buy it and make more fields. that preety much covers it.
Athens Paintball, Glowing Rock, Fat City, Wild Bills
I love this field. When my team was sponsored by other fields, we would come to DGS to play. They have 2 great fields and more goodies in store i am sure. George is an awesome guy to do business with. He will treat you right. A lot of great tourney teams come out to practice, and a lot of really fun rec ball can be played. You will have fun playing at DGS and you can become a better baller if you want to. There are plenty of people that you can get pointers from.
I went out to DGS on word of some friends on how great this place was. So I figure why not I'll give it a chance being that it was over an hour and a half away. Well we arrive and go into the shop, not that I care becuase I know they just changed buildings but it was unusually empty. I notice the paint prices and was very happy since the paint gets down to 48 dollars a case, I also loved the amount of selection of paint there was like 8 different choices.
We signed up and stepped outside onto the dead weeds and other junk on the ground and tried to make our way to the field. Only one field was up and it was the X-Ball field which looked amazing. We got over to the staging area and there was absolutely no space to put out guns on a table or something. I had to go find something in the woods that will work, luckily i found a table buried in the ground. The day was going good for the first few games but being that it was only 1 field and not a huge field I knew it was going to get crowded soon.
Well it did and we were soon playing 15v15 on a field that should have a MAX of 7 on each side. Nothing like tripling up every bunker on the field. Also they need to take care of the field a little more during play becuase near the end of the day everything was deflated and I still had a good few hours of balling left.
Overall this field was very anticlimatic to how it was built up to be. It was not worth the hour and a half drive that it took. Although if it was less maybe like 20 minutes I would surely go there. But there are alot of things they need to work on in order to make this field really worth driving to go to
And no im not one of those kids from Ultimate saying bad things this is 100% the truth about this field, and every single one of you knows it
