Young guns is a good place to go and paintball it has the most corses of any other feild i have been to. The staff is friendly and I have read other reviws about how the staff doesent ware a mask they dont ware a mask but they ware safty glasses and what dick is going to shoot at the host of the area. The courses are well maintained and offer great challanges, the place is always expanding it changes every time I go there, if you have any comments im sure that they would appriciate hearing it, not everyone flaming it behind the owners backs. Im sure if you bring a problem to there attention it will be corrected by the time you come back. Overall I rate this a 9 out of 10 because it has good location, its big, it has alot of courses, the people are friendly the prices are cheap, above that the hosts are very nice and they know what the are talking about. If you havent been there in the 2004 season I suggest you go, it has improved alot, overall great field.
Paintball Action Games, It's indoor, And Young Guns is outdoor, They both have there benefits due to weather.
I go to this field regularily and it has become my favorite place to play, among other fields, Young guns offers great prices, great staff, and overall just the best place to play paintball. If your looking for a fun place to hold a birthday they can organize that, I have attended a birthday party that was held at young guns and it was a blast, The prices were awesome and the staff was really helpful. Rental equipment is good, there reliable and are always available if your gun breaks (it happens). The paint prices are also very affordable, I use big ball which is 60 dollars for 2000 paint. I think thats an awesome deal.
The field fee is 15 dollars which I believe is reasonable, and Co2 prices vary between size which is also fair. A membership can wave the field fee each time you visit and it has a lot of other benefits also.
Young guns is a great place to go if you want the best paintballing expierince ever! I love this field and their staff, there great. Awesome setup and it always seems to get better every single time I visit. 9 out of 10.

paintball action indoor. best indoor feild ever. great staff. great prices
urban indoor and outdoor. These are identical cources. really bad. bad safety.
esg. Fun. nice staff. bad prices though. $10/100
Evolution. Horrible priaces. $45/500. $5/12 ounze co2. Really mean staff.
hey every one. I have played in almost 100 different paintball cources in Canada. Young guns has the nicest staff and the best fields. They just put up an x-ball feild and there putting up 3 new feilds. the safety at young guns is sweet. They have 30 feet high nets so no paintballs can get over it and hit some one in the safe areas. The prices are aswome here. I have a seasons pass so i only pay $2 a nitro fill and i use big ball for $60/2000.
For people who have never played paintball this would be the place i would go. its got good prices for rental euitment. They have good quality spyders. brand new this year. they change the lenses every 2 weeks in there masks so that the lenses don't break. They give u unlimated air. they also supply coverals which some places dont. And for any one who says young guns paintball is not a safe place. then why does young guns paintball have a PERFECT SAFETY RECORD. not very many places can say that.
This place has improved soooooo much since the last time ive gone. They now have spyder TL-X which are like 3 months old. They dont give you any pods and it costs alot for extra paint.
The staff isnt that bad and they have even more feilds and there makin some more they said that there will be like 5 more complete by the next season (march)
This is and wicked place so go there
Urban <indoor>: Above Average
I am suprised at what some of the reviews this place got, I live 3 range roads away, so I can get there in about 5-8 minutes, so the location is excellent for anyone that lives near stony, spruce, or futher west. I have been playing there for 2 years, almost every saturday, I have my own equipment and a season pass, so pricing is above adaquit for me, all I pay for is n2 fills <$2.00> when I have left over paint, A case of PMI Premium half and half costs me 70 dollars, so I cant complain about price.
There is however a slight problem with saftey, but I know everyone that works there quite well an you have to put yourself in there shoes, they have at least one group every day all summer long, and they get some pretty bad sunburn, it would be stressfull doing this every day in the hot sun for 3-8 hours at a time cordnating groups of inexperinced renters, so I wouldnt want to be wearing a mask all day either, they have fixed there problem with there chronoing in the parking lot lol. They now have a chrono hut, in which u put your mask on and chrono it in the hut. They have a few more workers this year so it is improving.
The courses are crazy good, except for certain walls that have fallen down in the town, other than that they are well maintained and I have never had a problem with them. A Problem u most likeley will face is the water problem, most city folk are used to that chlorine tastey water, out in the country it is well water, and most city folk dont like it, so it is wise to pack your own water or drink their well water, all you have to do is ask they will most likeley radio the house and they well bring a container of well water out <A big one>. I however pack 5 thermasis plump full of ice so I always have ice cold well water fresh water with me.
The saftey cordinators are beyond freindly, you can get into very big conversations if u just talk to them, they know a Spyder inside an out so if u have one they are usually more than happy to help you, If you are into using coveralls they have a wide array of coveralls that fit all sizes, and unlike evolution they are cleaned almost everyday or every second day.
Over all this is the best field ive ever played on due to the fact that it is to expensize to drive all the way into edmonton just to play a few hours of paintball, where as I can use like 2 litres of gas to go to a nearby, friendly, cheap, and great place to play, I have yet to expericnce a negative thing about it, I hope that this sets the record straight, this is most likely the best field in the edmonton an area, Besides P.A.G, so book a time for your group and go an see for yourself
P.S : they are planning to put up there airball \ Xball field in sometime during may.
My friends and I went for one of our birthdays and we found the staff to be nice and seemed to know what they were doing. The course was fun to play at. The fields were well kept except for vimy ridge the bunker a the top could have been better kept. The junkyard and speed ball were awsome. And the city was fun also. All round good place to play.
Quest for Adventure, Paintball action(good field, bad staff)
Young guns is the best paintball field in Edmonton that I've gone too. it's got the friendliest people there, great prices for rental and paint. They have a special for a season pass right now, check sight and give call for prices. the only bad thing about that place is there's no reffs, so cheaters wipe alot, it's a family buisness and things have to be watched so I don't blame. Great place, and conviently right next a lake with camping area for those ling weekends were all you want to do is play paintball!
Paintball Action Games (10 out of 10)
I recently held a company outing here.
I was very impressed, and so were my coworkers. The staff were friendly, the paint was cheap, and the fields are set up very well. there were many different playing enviroments, and each one has obviously been perfected overtime.
There were also many other people there when we went (in other fields) making it more enjoyable knowing we were not the only ones there.
Quest for Adventure / TAG
These other fields are a little better, only because of the size of them.
Its pretty good, except for the safety part (staff).
The staff do not wear proper protection and one day one will lose an eye. They do make everyone else wear masks and will give you heck if you take them off while not in the safety areas.
The firelds are pretty good, well maintained and challenging. Some of the fields are a little small, but not too bad.
I go there twice a month and have not had a bad experience yet.

Much has changed in a year since ive been here. They no longer chrono guns into the parking lot. A group of picnic tables have been setup for the players in the staging area. Safety has been enforced a bit more, but still have some staff members going around without a mask. One ref that i seen was very professional, he was running around paintchecking people during a big game.
Their big game that they held was ok, only around 90 people showed up. Being that close to Edmonton they should have had much more than that. The big game was hardly advertised on their website. The prices for the big game weren't much different from their regular day prices. Entry fee was $30 include a t-shirt, meal card, and free air, they charged regular prices for paint, thats not too cool. The game was setup so that teams had to collect "barrels of oil" for points, good idea, but very physically demanding for a big game. The door prizes were a little cheap (no gun giveaway!) The field allowed players to go full auto, not such a good idea.
Overall this field has come a long way from a year ago. It is good to see that they are able to cater to the many growing trends in paintball.
