when i first played at this field i played woods ball. Now it may not be great for woods ball since there is only about four or five fields, but theyre still pretty good. now a days i play on the indoor speedball field and since they got the turf in there its amazing. they change around the bunkers about once a week to mix it up and not give anyone a real advantage. after going there a few times you will start to become friends with everyone there and theyre a huge help. steve (tech) helps out a lot if any of our guns ever jams. also they arent that bad for paint anymore. a good case is about 65$ and for evil its 70$. the refs are good and now that i know them its even better. norm(owner) is a cool guy and just tries to make a few bucks to keep the place going. i have to say i think the place is definitely better than when i first went over the summer and it keeps getting better. id recommend coming a few times and you should see what im talking about
at first i would have given it about an 8 but now im going to go with 10
Alright first I started going to cobra to do work on my gun but then i started to play (I only have done the indoor) and i like the field but now they have gotten rid of the sand and have an astro turf like stuff in there . Also if u have a problem with ur gun steve (the tech) will normal fix things fast.
Their old field was awesome... with all the great fields, like Wookie and The Field. Norm was forced to move because there was a golf course going up where he played (the farmer sold the land I think...). When he moved here, he didn't have the space to do much. I really loved their old field and Norm is a great guy, but with 11 acres he can't do much. The indoor is pretty nice. (I've been informed that the sand was removed, so it should be A LOT better)

this field is a pretty good field.
The first tim i played there the ppl that played there were really nice, the arent the greatest but there not bad. I played a tournament there a few months ago and thier were some penlatys that i could deal without, like an over shooting penalty. But other than that it was a great tournament, i really think they just need to get a 5 or 7 man speedball field out there and they would be a pretty insane field. The indoor field is the field i play most of the time but sometimes i play walk ons and it can be fun. IF they got a few more fields it would be a ten out of ten, i can understand tho since there a new field, so i give this field a 9 out of 10. hope this helps
none, this was my first time playing paintball - ever.
When I arrived at Cobra Command, my friend and I were immediately taken care of, although it was fairly confusing. After a bit, we were taken to the back and I was given a Tippmann Pro-Lite as a rental.
This marker proved to be problematic throughout the day. It rarely fired only one shot per pull of the trigger, and the velocity was extremely inconsistant. Sometimes I'd shoot and the ball would go 45 feet, and without changing my aiming point, the next ball (or group of balls) would only go 10 feet.
One of the refs was 12, the others were 14 and 17.
The first game we played was a very fun objective game, where the armbands had to take a "case" to a car at the end of the field.
As I had been given no instruction on how to use the rental marker, I never got off a shot. I was soon eliminated.
The next 4 or 5 games were all elimination games in the village. (technically, they were "capture the bacon" style games, but no one actually tried to do that).
The last game was a Murder/Surrender or Die, where the only way to get out was to surrender or run out of paint/air.
During this round, my rental never worked correctly. Before this game, I had gone for a new tank of air. According to the others at the field, I had received a near-empty tank, as the rental always fired extremely fast bursts that rarely went more than 10 feet.
Because of these difficulties, I called myself out on the first hit, which was also a bounce.
All in all, I had a good time, even though my marker never worked correctly. I'd give this field a 8/10, just because the rental was very, very bad, and it seemed disorganized.
I still don't really know what it feels like to get hit, as all the times I called myself out were on bounces, except for the first hit on my mask, and I understand bounces hurt much less. :)
I played there two weeks ago, we started inside getting our guns chronoed in at 280, mine wasn't working real well so chet, took it apart and cleaned it for me. We played all day outside and I only broke a couple of balls. I only went through 1000rds the whole day, which was nice. Unlike some fields you actually get your money's worth, we played 18-20 some games, unlike skirmish where you play 2 every 4 hours or so. This place is really close to me, only like 15-20 minutes. The only bad part about this place is that the owner doesn't have a sign that you can see from 309, and if you miss the road its on there really isn't anyplace to turn around...
The cost was:
paint $20 for 500 or $60 for 2000
Field Fee $20
Air pass $10
In all i liked this field. Havnt had a chance to play the outdoor yet but i heard it was ausome, The indoor is great with a few exceptions 1. Really small 2. The few times i been there the bunckers had been set up and little sloppy. I tripped over 1 and it costs me the game cause the kid saw me fall. The people that work there r a little unhelpful but for the most part their good people.
So on average i give it a 9 out of ten because every where has room for improvements.
skirmish and destination earth both are alot of fun
the field was nice but not great. the indoor feild was pretty small and got boring after a few games. the refs were very pushy at getting you to play. you would get off from one game and they would want you to get back on for another without a break. once we went outside it was pretty fun. the fields were nice and they had some cool games to play(transporter, attack and defend, center hang, and total elimination). stop by have alittle fun and see what you think

First of all, this place is REALLY easy to get to...I'ts on Route 309 next to this RV Dealer.
I played Cobra Command yesterday and these are my thoughts...
When I first entered the front door, I was disaponted with their shotty selection of stuff to buy. But after I payed the $20 field fee and I got to play some of the fields, I was happy. I only played 2 of the outdoor fields due to rain. One field had those wooden round things and some huts, and the game was pretty fun. The second field i think was called "Crater". This field was crap. It consist of sticker bushes and hills, and thats it. It started to pour, so we played the indoor speed-ball field. After playing the speed-ball field for about 5 hours, I still wasn't bored of it. The field is made of sand, which makes it easier to dive, and when you run up on a barrier, you can slide a little to stop. The ref's were pretty nice, and knew their stuff. One game I played, these newb's kept blind firing around the rear stand-up's and the ref kicked them out. They let you chrono your gun alone, and they also help if your gun is messed up. Before we played the outdoor fields, I was chrono'd at 283 fps. After it rained and it was cold, I got liquid CO2 in my barell and I was shooting at 330fps! One of the guys helped me cut my spring down in order to shoot the 240fps indoor limit. I like the place bacuase it's for the local yokels, like me.
The only think I didn't like was this one guy with a Beard. He was annoying, and snobby. He acted like everyone was lower than him. Even Norm the owner didn't like him. But I only saw him a few times, so it wasn't that bad. If he was reffing, i would of unloaded a hopper in him just b/c he's a cock.
Here are the prices
Field Fee- $20
Paint $20 for 500
$80 for 2000
Air pass- $4 fill for 20 .0z
I give this place a 9 because everyone was cool, even the players, and the prices weren't bad. I just hated that bearded guy.....
Don't know what everybody else is talking about,
1. there indoor field,
there indoor field is nice with the sand, although getting in and all over your shoes, it great, you can dive and its not hard on your knees at all, they have all different kind of bunkers and have great employees that are nice and when you need help, they know what there talking about.
2. Outdoors fields,
There outdorr fields offer something that a lot of places do not have, and that is close, crazy, and different buildings and bunkers all on one field. the other field i played was some sort on open field square with a few bunches of trees, and underbrussh that is great to play in!
I give cobra command a 10 out of 10 because is close, and i always hav a great time when i go
its not as expenses as the others places i have been which makes it even better!
