This field is pretty cheap. However the fields are somewhat run down and are overused. Only $12 for admission and you can bring your own paint. I got stuck with some really crappy refs last time, the teams were totally unfair and I had a pretty sad cheating experience. In fact, I had two. Kindof disappointing. Other than that this field rocks.
The first time I played paintball was at this field.
The staff there is experienced, nice, and are helpfull. Prices are pretty cheap. This field is like any other paintball field. I dont go to this field often becuase it takes longer to drive up to Oceanside, compared to driving to Romona (Velocity Paintball Park) from where I live. The bad thing about Camp Pendleton Paintball Park (a.k.a Borderland Paintball) is that its in a military base. You have to go through a check point, they check your car, etc. So there is a bit of delay. And the actual field is a little hard to find. Its a small dirt turn off off the main road and the sign is small and old.
The timing inbetween games isnt bad. When I played in a private game, some one in our group would just go tell the ref "ok were ready to play" and instantly, the refs would gather up and take us to a field to play.
When I had my own C02 tank there, and I went to got it filled, i got it filled for free, I just walked away and they didnt do anything about it. >:).

great field really cheap. i went for an entire day and i only spent 26 bucks because i forgot my co2 and had to rent one but if u rent one they fill up ur co2 for free. you will like it it has beginner medium and advanced playing teams. and u can rent an autococker there too!!!!!!!!!!!!1
This is a nice field at a good price. If you have all of your gear its $12, co2 is like $3 for a 20oz, and nitro I THINK is $1 per ci or smthing. Its a good park for me because im not a pro or anything. The fps is 290,,,uuuuuummmmmm, they have about 6-8 courses i think. I say its a good park, but nothing too knarly. Id give it an 8.5
