I have been attending this field for the last 8 years of my life and I played my first game of paint ball there i have seen it grow and grow and the new ownership has done wonders with it the refs are nice but volunteers so they can get pissed sometimes as of a couple months ago the new management added a nppl style airball field and plan to have more with arti turf!!!!!!!!! This is the best field in the San Diego region period.
If you comin in from the Oceanside harbor side, keep goin straight until you see the sign.

Safety:
If i've ever seen a safe park, this is it. There are high paintball-proof nets all around every map. They make you put your barrel condom on at all times and make you put masks on when you're near a field.
Fields:
The field are SICK. They have ALL NEW FIELDS. They have a new field with real airplanes and tanks and jeeps (and the occasional OJ Simpson Bronco). There maps all have good bunker and sturdy houses. NO CRAPPY FOXHOLES. They also have some fields with trenches. There are fields for every type of paintballer: woods, hills, trenches, speedball, and a WW2 battlefield type field. Super fun.
Hours:
The park starts games at 9:30pm and ends games at 4:00pm.
Prices:
Entrance is ONLY $15!!! All-day air or all-day Co2 is $10. Paint is $15 for every 500 paintballs.
Rules:
You can bunker, and you have to have a barrel condom on AT ALL TIMES until the ref tells you to take it off. You can't fire at all in the parking lot unless your in a game or at the shooting range. You can't freeze paintballs or else you get kicked out. You can only use semi-auto.
Proshop:
They don't really sell anything. They sell feednecks and batteries and stuff like that.
Services:
They will fix your paintball gun if its screwed up (you have to pay for whatever they put in though). They have all kinds of sodas, water, gatorade, chocolate, seeds, snacks, and pizza.
Staff:
Hot chicks workin the registers (they have guys too) and they're all chill and help you out with whatever you need from food and air, to fixing your gun (mostly ions HAHA).
Refs:
The refs make good calls and let you play a good game of paintball.
Players:
The players are tactical g.i. joes (army & marines) and hardcore paintballers with the protos and stuff. They're pretty chill and make for some sick shootouts.
Overall:
This park is super sick and you'll have a good time. Sometimes SD's pro team comes through and even the semi-pro team. The fields are sick and they have great accomadations.
Sc Village - The best
Jungle-Island - 2nd best
Conquest - okay but far
Paintball Fury - okay but even further
Giant Paintball oc - the PITS!!

I enjoyed the park. Although my paint was two weeks old and not breaking on people, I did have fun. The language was a little rough but it came from certain players and not the reffing staff. The website needs to be updated, because now the park offers all day compressed air for $10. For $25 plus food and paint, it was worth the trip down to the Marine base. There is a lot of shaded areas to park under and get ready unlike SC where you are out in the blazing sun.
Staff: 10 (friendly)
Reffing: 9 (good)
Fields: 9 (too many overgrown due to recent rains)

So my experience at this field was pretty mediocre. Although it is pretty cheap, 15 for self equipped and 45 to rent and they also give military discounts. However i was there on a sat and it was packed i played on a field with literally 80-100 other players. Although their fields are pretty large 100 players was a ridiculous number. me and my friends were sent to "intermediate" level which was mostly advanced guys, just because my gun and one of my friends had an electric hopper on it. When i offered to take out the batteries out of my hopper, they told me that it didn't matter and if i wanted i could take the matters to "sonny" the manager. I thought this was a crazy rule but decided not to care too much. The staff are kind of helpful, but are not extremely friendly. when i asked them to look at my gun they straight out told me that it would be a min of $5 charge. I wasn't about to pay that for them to just unjam a bolt. The refs are experienced and know what they are doing and call well. The safety is definitely great, however there was no lunch available to purchase. Overall i have to say that its not worth the drive from San Diego, i suggest checking out mr. paintball it is about the same price and the staff are way friendlier and cooler.
First time that i have played in a paintball park walkon in california just moved here from michigan.

Horrible, one of the worst paintball experiences that i have ever had, Proshop was garbage, and the refs were the worst I have ever seen, swearing in front of children should not be tolerated where there are children but the refs didn't seem to care. Ridiculous amounts of people on fields made for half the size of players. The only thing keeping this afloat is the prices, and the location. Some of the fields had cool things on the field.
Now I have only been to this field a few times I have enjoyed every moment of it. The first time I went with some friends and we had a great time, we even had Pizza deliverd to the field. The only thing was the lunch break was a little long, but thats my only complaint and i dont know how long the lunch breaks are at other places so i cant compare.
The second time i went realy made me apreciate this place. It started when we where getting our gear ready i went to test my gun and it just didnt work. with my lack of paintball knowlege i took it to the "gun smith" area and those guys spent half an hour fixing my gun, they took it apart and replaced a couple o rings no charge!
The games where fun the refs where nice as well as the other players. They have a wide varity of fields ranging from speedball, a battlezone full of brokendown vehicles, to a wilderness area with trenches, lots of foiliage, hills and no man made objects. Overall i thought this was a greatplace and intend to keep going back.
Well first off i had heard alot of mixed comments about this place so I'll give u my experience. We arrived about 10am and pulled up to an unoccupied picnic table under a tree. We looked around and got our stuff ready to go by the time we got registered and ready to go it was lunch time :-(. (In their defense The staff took the time and explained everything to us that we needed to know and we were taking our sweet time getting our stuff together. Having only limited experience with Organized fields(my buddies play every Saturday 15-20players private field) I was extremely pleased to see that they incorporated alot of military vehicles into some of the fields. I didnt experience any of the over the top Jarhead crazyness that i heard runs rampant there... almost everyone there was eager to talk to me about this or that regarding paintball and even up against some of the more high end custom woodsball guns my MR2 with a few mods was still quite a conversation piece after it came up with a 7/1 kill ratio for the first game i played. The staff is very safety orentiented but i didnt incur or witness any fines which was great because i was playing on a limited budget.. I was even given two extra bags of paintballs by fellow players when we ran out. I will definitely be back this sunday with a few more guys. RAIN OR SHINE!!!
Cp has one of the best atmospheres in paintball. The refs have helped me out with whatever it was countless times. I like their fields which include woods to speedball. The field gets nicer every week. Last week they added new netting around the courses.
From beginner to advanced i learned a lot at cp
The field is under new ownership as of this weekend. They had all new rental equipment, using HPA. The staff and our ref's were great. the walkon groups were small, nothing like at Corona. They now sell pizza by the slice rather than having to order your own pizza.
They now run each field for 1 hour so you may play it several times before moving to the next one. Also play ended at 4:00 rather than 4:30.

Safety:
Barrel Plugs- Big ass deal to the staff at CP. "WHERE'S YOUR BARREL PLUG?!! 2 BUCKS!" Some of the words mostly spoken by them every weekend. I realize the safety issues but damn, charging players 2 bucks? bull.
Overall- decent fields (could reconstructed and spend some money), horrible attitudes from the staff (wont fix anything, cursing, long breaks in between games), unfair teams (marines intervene with the beginners (no offense)), no food (could order pizza but most of the time their is no service and the staff wont let you use their phone which does work),
Reffing (they stand around playing with themselves and hardly pay attention to the game),
