CPP is a really nice place. The safety is really uptight and like the enitre staff will yell at you if you don't have a barrel plug on. CPP is open from like 8 to 4 I think or at least that is how long a day walk on is. the pricing there is good but the paintballs are REALLY expensive. $62 a CASE!! The rules are pretty reasonable exept for they don't have any nets around the fields so when your going back to the tables in the parking lot, you have to wear your mask everywhere. THE STAFF SUCKS!! Not the refs the refs are good its just the people working at the shop. They will rag on you about your gun and stuff. like i said the refs are good. the players are okay. Sometimes on a Saturday or something you end up playing with like ex Navy Seals who are on the same team and own the entire field in like 30 seconds. facilites are pretty good except for the portapottys. Food - there is none just candy and soda which is a really good thing to eat right before you head out for a day of paintballing (wink wink).
RECAP:
PROS:
Good REFs
Fields are nice
Rentals are okay
Games organized
CONS:
People working at the shop (they always cuss and stuff)
no nets on fields
expensive paintballs (if you rent, BE PREPARED TO BRING/SPEND ALOT OF $$$$)
No free refills on air unless you rent
If you don't have a lot of money and don't mind the long ass trip into the military base, its a great field. The refs are nice. The employees can be wieners sometimes, but they are pretty funny. Paint is expensive. 62 dollars a case. Buy paint before you get there. They have advanced walk ons and beginners. I have played both. Advanced is a bunch of jerks that wipe and use at least a case of paint each game. Over all its a good field. Could use some nets though. And maybe another speed-ball course

I have an ion, and when i went to this field, it wouldn't shoot. when i went to the "repair shop", they started taking apart my gun. while they were doing that, they were making fun of my friends and my gun. While they were saying these offensive comments, i was thinking to myself, what jerks! they couldn't figure out what the problem was, they said "maybe the bolt is stuck," and junk like that. all it was was a low battery! i ended up renting a piranah, a PIRANAH!!!
DON'T go to this field, IT IS A QUICK TICKET BACK TO THE PROSHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mr. paintball - it rocks. if you're new.
velocity - fun speedball.
Directions to the Field:
i usually take the back gate to camp pendleton because it's closer to my house.
Take mesa and cross the 76 until you get to where the old toll bridge was at North River Road. Take a right until you reach Camp Pendleton's Gate. Go straight until you reach 16th Street. Or look for the fire station on the left side. then go straight until you come to a red sign on the left side of the road that says "paintball park". And you're there!
Review:
Camp pendleton REQUIRES a barrel plug, or condum. so DON'T forget one, or they charge you 5 bucks for one. You always have to have a mask on to walk onto the courses and even stand by a course. It kinda blows. If you rent camp pendleton's guns, you have to use their paint. and you don't wanna do that. Their price for a case of paint [2,000] costs as much as a case of Marballizers. about 65 bucks. The staff and refs are pretty chill, but if you forget to put in your barrel plug, or wear your mask.. they'll charge you 2 bucks. and you have to either pay them, right then and there, or they make you sit out two games. =/ Most of the players are nice people and help you out when you're in need. but some people can be donkeys. -.- They have portal potties, so go before you get there. haha. they have sodas for sale, 75 cents each. and you can orders pizza from like, dominos, and they'll deliver it there. That's pretty much it. The courses are all mostly brush and trees, and the speed ball course soaks up when it's wet also =/.

PROS:
+ BYOP
+ Cheap ($12 for all day)
+ Nice fields, especially if you like recball
+ Great refs who will go out of their way to help you
+ Safety rules enforced
+ Big, clean lockers
+ HUGE staging area
+ Very organized
CONS:
- No real food, only candybars and the such
- Portapotties. Hold your breath.
- Only 1 speedball field, no airball
- Breaks between games sometimes seem excessively long
- Road to staging area drives between fields, so if you leave early or come late your car could get hit
OVERALL:
8/10
Good place for beginners to mid level players, but more advanced tourney-level players may not like the field for lack of speedball and airball courses.
It is the best field i have ever been to. refs are fun and great. it is a cheap place to go to. FREE WATER LOL. overall it's a great field. The downsides about it, is that there is no food to buy there, and portapottys. Thats about it. I would give it a 10 out of 10 because it is just a great field.

Camp Pendleton is a great place to go paintballing. The admission fee is $12.00 for the whole day and you can re-enter without paying again. They have 10 big lockers that rent for $2.00 each and are great for putting your paint in. I regret to inform you that they have no air ball course, but they do have a speed ball course. They do sell paint, but it is quite pricey (about $62.00 for 2,000 balls). They do not serve food, instead they have inexpensive candy bars and soda. The people there like a certain food and if you bring it they will give you free food as a trade. The courses range in setting and they are great to play on. Overall, this is the best paintball park I have been to. The staff is funny and helpful, and the refs pay attention to you. You must bring a safety sock and if you don't have one, they will sell you one for $5.00 or rent you one for $2.00.

good Field sad no air-ball though stil good. far from where am from though
refs are cool got alot of compliments on my gun they always talk about how the players should have fun in the game also give some hints sometimes
i give it a 9 on how far it is from entering the base and how they charge fines if u don't have a ur barrel condom on but other then that 10
CONS~~~~~
-STAFF IS IMPOLITE, RUDE, MAYBE EVEN RACIST
-CLAIMS THAT RESERVATION IS REQUIRED FOR WEEKEND WALKONS, WHILE WEBSITE CLAIMS THAT PLAYING AS A WALK ON PLAYER DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO MAKE RESERVATIONS.
in order to back up my claims, it is important that you read the following. i wish i could rate with negative numbers some times.
the website claims that walk on players do not need to make reservations on the weekend. however, as soon as we got there, a staff member resembling the west coast choppers guy treated us with disrespect, telling us that we would have needed to reserve. the link here--->
http://www.cppaintball.com/prices.html
shows that reservations are only required for private groups.
we also called in advance, asking whether we would need to make reservations for these so called "walk on games" and were told "no".
if it were up to me, i would have the people running the place fired and have nice and experienced paintballers run the place. people paintball to have fun, not to be turned down and have to drive for another hour looking for velocity paintball park.
I played in Mr.Paintball USA(sucks), Velocity paintball, and weekend warriors.
Review:
At first when i got to the park, i thought that it an "okay" park. Like any other San Diego paintball park, this was built on dirt, sand, etc. So, it wasnt very much of a suprise for me when I was driving up the dirt isolated road leading to this paintball park. It was a waste of gas, and you know how all college kids are all poor and broke. So, I was quite disspointed when i wasted expensive gas. Anyways, When I got there with my freinds, my ghetto car(since im in college right now) was hit by a paintball. I didnt really care cuz my car sucked in the first place anyways. But, it was a concern for my freinds dad rich stupid preppy car. When we got to the main grounds, it was a relief to see trees and all of those stuff there for shade for our cars. So, this is what i thought about the fields using pros and cons.
*****PROS*****
1. REALLY nice fields to play on.
2. The refs were pretty nice.
3. It lets you bring your own paintballs.
4. The rentals were really good.
5. Cheap admission price.
6. The fields had nice bunkers, hills, etc.
7. Great paintball field.
******CONS********
1. The bathroom really sucked.... A LOT, but, all the guys have to do is just close their eyes, hold their breath, relax, and let it all out. You dont have to aim for the tolite, cuz that place is dirty enough anyways.
2. Safety wasnt that good over there.
3. the teams were slightly disorganized.
Overall, this paintball park is great!!! I loved it. I think that i will go here again if i have anytime to take a break off of my stupid homework. The refs help you out, and the fields were REALLY, REALLY nice. I would give this park a 9. It would of been a 10, but our refs didnt really check our velocity. GREAT field.
