this is a great place to play. not so good for newibies but geat for intermidite to advanced players. i love all of there filds. they just got this new x-ball fild and it was probly one of the best setups. my team is thinking of making this place our home fild. incase you dont know were chaos.
go and play there! all day air and bring your own paint.
a - is there are no reff, but most people dont cheat.
this is an amazing place to play, the staff is great,(get to know them wnough and u can get free air : ),) they got answers to your every question... this one time my mag was actin up, and thye couldnt figure out why so they were like, here just borrow this matrix. the owner is cool as hell, and thier team kicks ass. you people who complain about thier team cheating suck to bad to know whats going on. you gotta relieze thats its a learning experience. only bad thing about this place is a) the woods ball, im not quite a fan of woods ball to begin with, but there field is just a bit too clutered. and the newbs... i know we all have to learn some time, but learn how to cover! thats about it.
The Good
The fields aren't bad. They have woodsball, speedball, and airball. The speedball and airball fields are pretty standard. The woodsball field is overly populated with cover. You can't go 5 ft. without running into a pallet, some netting, or some other non-natural cover(I like woods fields with just natural cover).
They allow you to bring your own paint(always a plus)
The Bad(Well not really bad but disappointing)
Field Fee $10, All Day Air $10, So $20 if you bring all your own equipment.
$25 Rental fee for equipment(Goggles, gun, and 100 paintballs) if you don't have any... My neighbor had to return his gun 3 times for replacements during a four hour period.
Paint $40(for the cheap stuff) to $80(for just below premium)
The Ugly(Why I will probably not go back)
I returned to this field after a semi-bad experience the first time. I though what I experienced the first time was a one time fluke but after the second time I am convinced that it happens rather frequently, here are the details of both times...
I took my neighbor(a first timer) to the field and we proceeded to find a game. There was a limited number of people available, so we played a 2-on-2 with another guy and his friend(also a first timer). We like to play woodsball so that's what we played. Well, the field sponsored team wanted to practice on airball so they asked us for a game. We didn't want to play airball, and we had two newbies in our group of four so we really didn't want to be target practice. We let them talk us into to it by promising to play a game of woodsball after the game of airball. Needless to say they creamed us in airball then refused to play woodsball. Also during the airball game they wiped paint while the refs watched them do it.
On my second visit I took along a more experienced player. We found another one at the field along with a semi-experienced teen. We played 4-on-4 airball. The first game lasted a long time, but in the end we lost 4 players they lost 0. After the game we discussed how they could lose none, when I was positive that I hit two of them, and one of our guys hit another. Int he second game, They we down one man(I think he went to get air) so we picked up another teen and one of our experienced guys moved to their team. I quickly shot out our old teammate, and was concentrating on the guys behind him. He didn't want to walk through the crossfire, so he waited on the side. All of a sudden he started screaming the I had shot out the other guy and he was behind the bunker wiping it off. The ref being his friend(or brother) said nothing, but he eventually admitted he was hit and left. We ended up losing but I shot out three of their guys. The next game(in which I finally got pissed enough to leave) they kicked my old teammate off of their team and picked up their original(whom had refilled their air). Again we were playing a 4-on-4. Early on, I shot out two while they hit our teen. All three left the field. I know there is one straight in front of me, and their other is on the opposite side of the field having a shoot out with our newly reunited teammate. While I have my guy pinned, and have my friend advancing behind me, I suddenly get shot in the mask from the left flank. The reunited teammate gets shot from his guy, and my friend has just advanced center field, and is surrounded by three people. I know I shot two and watched them exit. 4 minus 2 does not leave three... Their field team seems determined to do anything to win(including wiping, and returning to a game after exiting)... During the game we were calling out positions, so we were positive the we knew where they all were and how many there were...
Conclusion
Not a bad place to play as long as you bring your own refs!!!
I was completely new to paintball and the staff and customers of Maximum helped me out with every question I had.
The field fees are very reasonable ( $10 to play, $10 all day air) and even after a 30 to 40 minute drive, it's worth going there to play.
The three fields are set up so you can move between them quickly, and, Hyperball and Airball are set up so you can sit on the sidelines and watch games if you want.
If you're in the Atlanta/ NE Georgia area, I recommend checking this field out.
Maximum Paintball is the only paintball field I've played on. A lot of my friends and teammates have gone to Paintball Atlanta and all I've heard is bad things.
Review:
I think that Maximum Paintball is one of the best courses I've heard people talking about. I don't know what it compares to other fields. I personally like the fact that you can bring your own paint. The three courses on Maximum Paintball are good. My favorite is the airball field. The other two fields are good too. Also, at Maximum Paintball, the refs are real friendly and so are the people who go there. If you're ready for some competition or a place to practice for your team, go to Maximum Paintball.
paintball atlanta, way to expensive and refs are homos except for greg and takes 10 mins to start a game and too many new kids

Maximum Paintball is an awesome place, its bring-your-own-paint, but they have paint there cheap also, and its $10 for all day air and before you leave you can get it filled to played on backyards. They have an awesome Airball field and Hyperball, I didn't play on the woods but it looked cool, there are no refs for pay, someone there at the fields just voluntees to ref. My friend went to the Comsic Paintball(glow in the dark) and he said it was really cool. Overall this place is the coolest.
