Sorry to tell you, but there's not many good paintball guns that are a "rifle" style. You can try the Tippman Pro-Carbine. Most of the realistic paintball weapons are either ridiculously expensive, cheaply made, or both. You won't find a good one to play with that can really compete with a Spyder.

Also, you can't effectively use a sight with a paintball gun. It just doesn't work; the paintball just falls short of any range where a scope would be usefu.

I suggest a Tippman Custom 98. It's probably the best compromise between what you're looking for, and what will perform well. It is much closer to the rifle-style gun, especially if you put a Flatline barrel on there. With a properly tuned Flatline, you CAN use a scope, because it has more distance than any other barrel or gun.

Also, put a CAR stock on it. It's very similar to an M-16 stock. It's very popular because it's fairly realistic, and it performs well.

The best part is the Custom 98 is fairly inexpensive. The gun is $125, the Flatline is $100, and the CAR stock is around $50, I think. Use a coiled hose remote and a 4+1 if you use a CAR stock.

You can probably find ALL of this stuff at http://www.shop4paintball.com

If you want my personal advice, I'd stay away from the "realistic" stuff, because it's unfortunately not a part of the game any more. For a real performance gun, I'd get the AutoCocker. It's $325 from http://www.paintballgeeks.com
It shoots way better than any other gun that you're talking about; even the Custom 98 (which is still a good gun).

I figured that they probably werent very good... but they looked pretty cool, especially the ones w/double barrels. :)

I saw them in a magazine and figured I might as well post the site. I ment it more as a joke

(I have a spyder)

Some of the guns are made from automag and ATS paintball guns
