id say go with the flash. my friend has a 5.0 and its kinda bulky and heavy. its cool but heavy and without an aftermarket barrel, its extremely inaccurate and chops loads of paint. im not sure if its exactly the same with the 6.0 but to me i think theyre practically the same guns just with the 6.0 has a high-risde verticle feed, the grip frame talks or whatever and theres a reg.

I would go with the Flash. There are more aftermarket parts for Spyder's than JT. And the difference between the E-99 and the Flash LCD is that you can change firing modes externaly on the Flash LCD plus the timer and shot counter.:D

Actually, JT's take almost all Spyder aftermarket parts.
My 6.0 doesn't chop, is accurate, isn't heavy, and works great. My friend had a Spyder and it would break on him every other time he used it.

JT uses spyder threads, and nearly all Spyder aftermarket parts are compatible with JT's. Between the JT 6.0, and the Flash, I would take the JT. I've had a chance to use both, and while the JT is nothing that great, I'd take it over the Flash anyday.

I had the opportunity to handle a 6.0....it was a good gun, but here's the quirks...
VERY heavy gun. Like, steel almost. And the only other quirk that really bothered me was the fact that getting the striker out is damn near impossible....see the bolt and striker are connected vie a strip pin....the thing is, in order to remove internals, you have to take off the strip pin off course...which means the bolt and hammer are no longer connected, which means the bolt will slide out but the hammer will not.....it was a nightmare to remove the hammer.
Get the E-99, it performs damn near the same but doesn't have the quirks the JT does.....it has a different, more managable set of quirks....the staggered holes and the metric threading.

I'd say if he likes the e-99 to go with the flash, I mean its cheaper than the jt and probably better too. I mean the J.T is good to like it has voice prompts that are kinda useless........and vibration thats.....kinda useless....I know someone with a JT, after bragging about how *great* it is hes now asking for my revvy. Well the J.T looks good but then looks are......................kinda useless.............

I don't think that this is helping you that much really, all JT users have said JT and all Spyder users have said Spyder:)

I would get the Flash because replacement parts are super easy to get (get them online or at your local store) and the upgrade path for it is infinite. Yes, the JT does take a lot of Spyder compatible parts, but there are several parts that are unique to the marker because of it's design. Replacement parts for the 6.0 (or any JT marker) are nearly impossible to attain. Check out the BE/JT marker forum if you don't believe me.
My friend has a Flash LCD. I am very impressed with it. It shoots almost as fast/nice as my BKO.
I shot a JT 5.0 once and it shot about the same as the Flash. It weighted a ton when compared to any Spyder, though.

The 6.0 has serious blow back issues! My friend owned one, but it chopped so badly that he could not even play with it. I think, however, if you do not have a super-fast trigger finger you may be alright... Just beware if you are a hoser, it will chop. I am not biased against spyder's or Jt's I have shot both and owned many spyders. I just believe that the JT is not that great of a gun; get the spyder...

I have a piranha but ive shot a 5.0 and some spyders, take the spyder. The 5.0 chopped everyother ball and the blowback is the worst.

Definitely reccommend the Flash. Exclelerators are not worth the money in any way possible!
