ok, i looked through all of the impulse FAQ and cant seem to download an impulse manual, and do not have one, so i cant find the answer to my problem anyhwere, so i am comming here. ok, i kno impulses are supposed to be very consistent or wutevr an shoot 280, 280, 280 FPS without it moving around.....my imp is a little diffrent.....i shoot it once its 250, agin and its 290, agin and its 240, agin and its 320, agin and its 300, its quite stupid and kinda annoying when playing not knowing if my next shot will go where the last one went...i currently cannot adjust my dwell till i get a new board cuz the one i have sucks and doesnt seem to work...so....any suggestions to this problem?

If you're running Co2 then that's your problem. Try running N2 it will be a lot more consistent. If you are running N2 and its doing that, hopefully someone else can help you. Oh, and get a new board, it will make things a whole lot easier for you

bah, co2 through a maxflo is just as consistent as hpa(n2 for those that believed the ads). and i'm sure it's just the dwell, or you need to lube everything. and I would clean the maxflo too.

smartparts web site has a pdf version of the manual
THe fact that your dwell won't adjust indicats that you have a bad dwell pot or a too long spring in the solonoid. You shouldn't be worring about consistency until you have a good board. Sorts like tuning your car when it has a bad computer chip
FOM and Dravion are right,
The board could be causing all of the problem and a good board COULD fix that.
Your problem is not only from CO2, I know many an Impulse use that runs CO2 and they have 95 percent the consistancy that HPA users have.
You should never put dow 33 on the hammer or the shaft of your ram. The excess Dow 33 can cause FSDO.

Do you know for sure that the board is bad? Just because it is inconsitant doesn't necessarily mean the board is bad. Have you checked your paint to barrel match? If you are using old or cheap paint, the size of the balls are very inconsistant. Some balls may be tight in the barrel and others not. This can cause the inconsistencies you see. Do as the others said and clean and lube your Maxflow too.

Go to: http://www.smartparts.com/spsupport.htm and download the Impulse and Maxflow manual. The Maxflow manual will tell you how to take apart and clean the Maxflow. Are you positive you can't adjust your dwell? Have you turned it all the way down and shot some balls over a chrono and all the way up and shot some balls over a chrono to verify that there is no difference? In any case, $70 for a cricket board is damn good. Is it new? New ones usually run about $170-$200.

well.... i have one of those boards where u have to scrw a little white thing and it will adjust..but..the thing is liek plastic and if u dont get it just right it will start to peel, like if u were to peel soap, or potato skins....so its down to the point where there is no way to even turn it bcuz there is no grip for the tool to go into....so ya its pretty much screwd over...ill try to get those manuals...thnx..
