I'm debating. What is better and why?

I'm usually a front player but I do play back sometimes.

I assume that you plan to use either of these items to prevent liquid CO2 from entering your gun, right? If so, I would say they both would work about the same for eliminating liquid in your gun. The advantage of using a remote is that it makes your gun a whole lot lighter, especially if you use a big whoppin 20 oz. The disadvantage of using a remote is that you are left without something solid to use as a shoulder stock. However this can be corrected by purchasing a gas thru stock or rigging up your gun where you can use a regular aluminum straight stock that connects to the bottom of your grip ( I did this with my Piranha by connecting the male quick disconnect piece to the bottom of the gas thru grip and then removing the ASA from the bottom of the trigger frame, so I could then connect the stock to the bottom of the trigger frame). Now, about the drop forwards. A drop forward is meant to give your gun a better balance by repositioning the weight of the tank closer to the center of the gun, and also is meant to help with liquid problems by tilting your tank so you only get gas flow. I hope this helps...I could provide you more information if you told me what gun you have.

Sorry, i didn't look at your sig to see what gun you have. Anyway, if you want to use a remote on that gun, you could use it without something to brace against your shoulder, or you could just do what I did. Using the drop forward, you would still have the weight of the tank, but would still have a stock, and would no longer have liquid CO2 entering your gun.

Get a Dropforward it balances your gun and it will be more compact..Remotes are known to restrict airflow.

*thinks of remotes* EWWWWWWWWWW, gross gross gross. (imo), GO WITH THE DROP! I'd hate having weight on my back, especially since I'm up front doin funky stuff. If you get a good dropforward the tank should be nicely balanced and you won't notice the weight as much. And on-gun setups look sweet.
