taking apart my rat i noticed my hammer cap is brass ..is this stock or can i get better one(if so witch one)

The Brass hammer that came in your Rat is better than an aluminum hammer, but there are even better ones depending on your setup.

Take a look at the site that Skog put up, he did a very good job. It will tell you all about that stuff, like the weights in grains.
