i own a impulse with a screw in setup up , vertical max flow, and i use a preset 68/3000 crossfire stub system. anyway, i am only getting around 5-600 shots off my tank as of now and that sux. also, when i keep shooting, i think there is a lot of pressure build up in the reg or in the gun somewhere , that as i keep shooting, the bolt action slows down and then , out of nowhere this big venting or burst of air just blows out ( like 1/2 the tank) from that little hole in the bottom of my max flow reg on the velocity adjusting cap. and then, the whole reg, tank and my kapp drop zone 2 begin to get freezing cold! frosty cold! yes its nitro! ahhhhh! i was talkin to someone tho, and he said that when they vertical mounted my maxflow, they plugged the releif port in my maxflow reg. and this is what causes the pressure to build and gun freezing. he told me i have to order a small brass pressure releiver from smart parts that is installed right in the macroline going into the reg.is this true? he said its free from sp, i just havnt called them yet, so please respond and help me out people, thanks a bunch guys im out

OK, have you read anything related to the impulse? cause everything says use and on/off switch if ur directly hooked up to the max flow. that cause your bursts of air out of the bottom, you have to set the dwell time for the bolt to stop being slow( that's the little screw on the side of the gun) and w/ the stubby you won't get more than 600 shots off of it. just won't happen. make sure your maxflow is together correctly. and i haven't ever heard of that thing ur friend was talking about. the macroline is an tube, nothing is put in it.

Yes, your dwell is set incorrectly and your relief valve is messed up. First try lubing the whole gun and max-flow.

ure not getting it, the dwell is set corect the guy at my shop did it. when i first shoot the gun, the bolt is fast and shooting right. gradually, as i shoot mroe, the bolt action begins to slow down, its not slow from the start . also, i have an on/ff switch on my gun!!!! its a little red lever and its an on/ff so i dont know why my gun is freezing up or the pressure build is occuring.

the guys at your pro shop are idiots, is all I have to say. What pressure do you have running into the gun?

well im not too sure, because i got a kapp micro lp gauge on it and it has the number 2,4,6,8,10,12 and on the bottom is says psi times 100, so that means each number is multiplied by 100 and i cant exactly tell which number the arrow is on but it does not come close to going past the 2 (200 psi) and thats a good thing, but i still dont know exactly what the pressure is, it looked at about 170psi.
