Does the model 98 xpac kit fit on the custom 98 too? Because in most sites the custom 98 expak kit looks fugly...

I would rather go with an X-Core and Vert. Adapter then with the Tippmann X-Chamber Kit. Looks better and most likely preforms better.

I don't know how much the Tippmann Kit is, but the X-Core & Vert. Adapter together is $40 on County (http://www.countypaintball.com) ;)

Oh, and to answer your question, yes it fits both the Model 98 and Custom 98.

like answered above, yes it will fit both.. you just need a vertical adapter. As for the x-chamber, I used the new style tippmann for a long time while I was running co2, and it worked fine. I'd recommend going with a palmer reg though if you've got the money. :)

ya its will fit the custom. its supposed to. but if i were you for around the same price i would get the verticle adaptor and a better x chamber. but the vert adaptor can be a real bich to put on i had to put mine in a vice b/c the loctite tip puts on the steal braided hose is really strong.
