Ok, well not exactly a box but i bought 500 bag of all stars over the net. Now from everything i read, these are supposed to be top quality balls, and everyone of them is supposed to nearly perfectly round. and use the new advantage shell. I also thought they were supposed to be seamless....though they are not so i musta confused myself.
Anyways sitting right on top of the bag when i opened it is a very nicely shaped egg ball. and all the rest seem to just look a bit distorted a bit oblong. I didnt notcie any dimples in the paint.
Has anyone else shot these, and is what i am observing typical or did I maybe just get a bad bag. For 17.99 for 500 paintballs i was hoping they would be a bit rounder. I havent shot these yet, so I dont know how they are gona behave.
Any info on this particular paint would be help full. Thanks.

You got a bad bag. my cousin shoots that all star all the time. He even puts it through his talon when we have talon wars. I use evil and thats stuff is the best i have used... ever.

i recently shot my first all stars, i wasnt that impressed, they didnt shoot that much better that marbs, the only difference was that they always broke, but they also made my gun chop instead of pinch
i probably wont shoot them any more
sorry you didnt fare any better than i did rainier

You should take them or send them back. You got screwed with a bad bag.
All Stars are the same thing as Marbs. Same shell with different pattern and same fill. Years ago, this wasn't the case. All Stars were a brittle tourney paint.

Well first off I can't return the paint, and 2nd off, i probably had 2 high of an expectation.
3rd, i think its an optical illusion also, being that half of the ball has bigger stars than the other half, making it appear oval.
But that said I took a few different balls and stuck them in the end of my barrel then held it up to the light , and they toughed on top and bottom of my barrel, but not the sides. this is probably typical of most paints.
i wont be buying any more paint until i get outa boot camp, after that i will buy a case of the stars and see if i fair better.

When you buy paint form the 'net...especially Ebay or similar or a private dealer and not a store, the paint is usually ancient.
Let's say you got them as a bonus wiht an ebay auction.
From the time that the warehouse shipped them to the store, the dealer bought them, the dealer HAD them, the time he posted them on the auction site deciding they were already too old, the time it took you to WIN them, and then the time they had to be shipped to YOU....
I'd only expect Advantage shell to be the only type of paint to survive that in half decent shape.
It's not the fault of the paint, it's good paint, but it's OLD and that makes it bad paint. Paint bought from the net is cheaper, but usually much older.
Buy from your local pro shop....when you factor in shipping charges, he probably isn't that much more expensive and you can see and touch what you're getting.
