Hey,

Does everyone here oil the threads on their barrels??

why would you?? they should not have to be oiled and it is a good idea to keep oil away from your barrel.

well the stock barrel on it tht came w/ the custom was kinda oiled..

so i wanted to know if i was supposed to

nah, its not necessary, maby the oring every once and a while but even that is not really needed. You shouldnt have to.

well, it sais 2 in the manual, and because i take care of my gun half to death, i occasionally oil the barrel, just to keep it sliding nice

no, dont oil your barrel, thats the same thing, if not worse then a ball break...

I agree. I put a drop or two on mine every now and then. He's right about not really needing it but it does keep things moving smoothly and helps keep the wear and tear down on the threads. Just don't put more then a drop or two and wipe off the excess. I've done this with all my markers and have never had a problem.

yep
