3000psi, and 4500psi. are there two different fill stations for each sized tank (psi)?

it's kinda of hard to explain but here goes. A Co2 fill station can fill a 9oz, 12oz, 20oz, etc. Meaning I can fill any Co2 tank from the same fill station right.

does HPA work the same? can i fill a 4500psi tank and a 3000psi tank from the same fill station. In other words is there a special fill station for 3000psi tanks only? is there a special fill station for a 4500psi tank only? I can fill a 4500psi tank from the same fill station it takes to fill a 3000psi tank right.

do you need a special tank to fill a 4500 psi tank? or can you use the same tank you would use to fill a 3000psi tank, for the 4500?

that is what im asking

a fill setup (either 6000psi nitro or a booster, etc.) can most likely fill to either pressure, but you'd have to be careful about overfilling a 3000psi tank...
I think the older nitroducks used different sized nipples for the 4500, just to make sure you didn't mix 'em up while filling, which is actually a good safety issue ^_^

as far as SCUBAs go, they only fill to 3k anyway, and you could fill a 4500 tank, but it wouldn't be a full fill...

so why is it that scuba tanks can only fill a 3k psi tank?

N2 can only be filled from scuba tanks right, and Compressed air from the a super powered air compressor (duh)? the super air compressor thingy can fill both the 4500, and the 3000psi tanks. while N2 can only fill 3000psi tanks?

scuba tanks can only hold 3k psi, so a scuba tank can't output more pressure than in the tank, so you will only get one true fill at 3k then it goes down from there. The main tank can only fill your tank to equal pressure. however if you have a tank that has been filled at 4.5k it can fill both 4.5 and 3k tanks. Nitro, compressed air, N2, HPA are all the same thing as far as paintball goes and all interchangable. Scuba tanks are filled w/ compressed air, you have to breathe it if you're using for scuba diving, and nitro is the 2nd most abundant gas is air so i guess thats why they call compressed air nitro.

but no you can fill 3k and 4.5k on Compressed air, or nitrogen(if for some reason you're using that instead)
