Does it really matter to play in a tournament with only 1 gun. I dont have a backup and im not planning on buying one. None of my teammates do either.

i always bring my mag as a backup just in case. i loaned it to a teamate once, then my cocker went down, so we were still a gun short (first tourny as a team at the cspa), then it got loaned at another tourny to one of the guys off of spank. Its good to have one, but if you don't, just hope you can borrow one.

its always nice to have a back up tippmann make as decents ones but getting one to your gun that is similar to your gun so they wont be much of a difference so it wont be like going from a victor II to a gothic angel

Any gun is a good backup gun, even if it is some brass eagle gun. its better to have an extra gun for backup instead of skipping your next game to fix your only gun.

Backup:
gun
Tank
hopper
goggles
Anything essential, ALWAYS have a backup, worst place for something to wrong at is at a tourney. Anybody with common sense has backup gear. Or plans on buying it at least.

Have 2 of everything, like CK said. Gun, tank, goggles, o rings, springs, lube, oil...Expect the worst, although it may not always be bad. Just be prepared. Its better to have a steel 47/3000 nitro tank in handy instead of askin everyone, "anyone got a spare tank i could use??"

and if u cant afford back up guns/hoppers/mask/tanks, then get a backup player who has there own stuff. my team has a bunch of backup guns and they have come in handy at times. i'm getting my second gun here in a few months. i'm gettin a strange imp, and then retiring my imp to backup.

ALWAYS bring a backup of almost everything. You don't know when a marker/loader/mask/whatever wil go down. I've seen it happen way too many times to be sure with one piece of equipment.
