i wanna know. why da heck would they start making .62 caliber paintballs? as for paintballs at least, the smaller the mass, the less accurate the gun will be. dats why airsoft guns are so innaccurate at ranges that paintball guns are accurate. i mean, they mite produce these paintballs for blow guns...but i dunno.

I think it's mainly for the guys who love their old SMG 60's but never get to play with them. SMG 60's take .62 cal paint.

I swear I replied to this same question before.

62 caliber paintballs used to be made years ago. All guns fired them back then. Then, the industry switched to 68 caliber paint and paintball guns. A 62 caliber gun can't fire a 68 caliber paintball, and vice versa. 62 caliber paintballs, to the best of my knowledge, stopped being made about 2 years ago. There was some obscure canadian company that was making them, but then went out of business.

The only people who use the 62 caliber paintballs are the real veterans who want to use their old guns again.

Why do you think the industry evolved to .68 caliber?
