How should I go about removing the front from a boomstick to save myself some money when I have it annodized.

I was told by a reliable source to use a torch of sometime and heat the section up and unscrew the front, than when its annodized use a 24hour epoxy and screw it back on.

I talked to a guy with an oxygen torch and said it would melt the barrel and cut it off instantly. He suggested a propane torch but says I should look into it before I try anything with a 100 dollar barrel.

Thanks guys :)

Did you email them? service@dyeprecision.com

Wouldnt a heat gun work better? Like the ones you use to take the blades out of hockey sticks?
