I was wondering which would be a better buy and why you think so...
WGP E-Ranger- $187 with gun case, hopper, and tanks A/C barrels
M3 Black Dragun LCD/LED - $175/$199 with just the gun
I have heard of problems with the ball detent rubbing on the bolt of the E-ranger, but I also hear of crappy BD quality and i kno if its from WGP i wont be having THAT problem... Plus I can keep the barrel I buy for it for when I buy a my 'cocker..

I would say the E ranger, more assecories for your buck and its WGP. It wouldn't let me vote though, something about an invalid action.
i would take the e ranger

Just my opinion, from personal experience, I would not recommend a M3/Pi marker to anybody. Yes, thier customer service is excellent really good! But, their markers break really easily. I owned a Pi E2 Black Dragun and the stupid sear kept messing up on me. Sometimes it would shoot one ball, sometimes two, sometimes it would just keep shooting. If you are wanting your first electro then I recommend either a Spyder or a Piranha. They both have a great history, as well as good customer service.

maybe if you would read a little you'll find out that many people have that problem with there m3, and it is an easy fix judging you i'm saying that you just didn't adjust the sear. I say go for the m3 lcd 20bps and e-ranger is 11bps so maybe the e-ranger comes with some accessories for one thing the hopper in that package is probobly not motorized which would make it practacly useless. cases arn't that big of a deal.
m3 all the way.

.... but the real question is, do you plan on shooting 20 bps all the time or somthing? Im afraid crazy high bps shouldnt sell you on a gun. By the way, why would you even "need" more than 11 bps? By the way, i hardly ever chop with my normal hopper.

Its not just a case. It also comes with a two piece barrel, a regulator, and a drop forward with an on/off switch. Those additions alone can run way over 100 bucks. With the regulator already there its alot cheaper to upgrade to hp air. If money is the main concern why would anyone want to shoot 20 balls a second ( unless you can't aim). The hopper is threaded so you don't have to worry about profile or it falling off like with an elbow. I don't know about the Dragon but the ranger has autococker threads for the barrel. Almost everyone makes barrels for the cocker so upgrading that later would be a snap as well.

I don't think he wants to spend that much money Leroy. Its not like anyone can just run out and spend 300 bucks on just a gun. Get real.

I think you should try out some markers and see what you like. If you can't do that i suggest selling your old gun then buying a better one and working up until you got a cocker or what ever you want. You might (probly) lose some money but you will know more about the guns you used and will know what to by next. Well to suit your style.

I'm sorry if I sparked a flame with my earlier comment. I didn't mean to offend anyone about spending that much money on a marker ( I would if I could type of deal). It's great that some people can spend 1000 bucks, it's just that statistically, most players are rec players and use rentals or their own store bought upgrade of one (Spyders, Piranhas, you know what I mean).
And, if the markers listed in the poll are any indicator of what BlackDragunner's price range looks like (ie saving for a cocker) then buying a mag (well most mags) would mean spending more than that.
I'd say that Freakplayers note about buying up to better markers is the right way to go for pretty much anybody unless, you have the extra money to buy the marker of your dreams right away! Then I say go for it!
