1st Game:
It was a pretty cool day, I went on Thursday because every Thursdays, its free admission from 3pm-10pm at my field: www.hollywoodsports.com. Anyways, my first game started and I wasn't use to playing with a pump so I run up as soon as I heard the whistle...playing like I had a semi. I soon realize I was in a heap of trouble, me in the front with a pump and the other team was closing in around me from all sides. Well, I was at a corner and over the window, this guy comes running up not seeing me and hides about 10 yards away behind some rocks, I have a clear view of him in my ADCO SureShot (im advertising)...pumped the Phantom, lined up the red dot and squeeze off a round....MISSED by an inch! damn my sight was off! I quickly ducked inside my bunker and the guy ducks into his, looking around where the shot came from. Feeling safe again, he slowly creeps his head to look around, at the same time, Im slowly zeroing in the red dot on his head but this time, moving the red dot an inch from the right and pulled the trigger, BAM hit his hopper lid and his paint came dumping all over the place. "PLAYER, YOUR OUT!! PLAYER YOUR OUT!!!" I screamed my *** off, it felt great!! My first game and I got a kill with my Phantom!! Just as I was celebrating, I blew my cover and took two shots in the chest:(
2nd game:
Whistle blew, I ran but cautiously behind a couple of semis this time...to make a long story short, I was behind a bunker and was taken out in the arm by another Phantom...at least it was another Phantom right?:)
3ed Game:
My best game ever of the day out of the 8 games I played that night. I'll make this short too, the team split up into two and one took the right flank, the other took the left. I went to the left, most of the opposing team went to the right so there was only about 5 guys guarding their left flank. We had the usual firefight, I let the semis guys take care of that while I pop in and out to take my snap shots, only missing inches from their head. Well, the firefight on the left flank ended up with my side being victorious. Now, with the left flank being cleared, I rushed cautiously to the right flank from the rear knowing the other team's back would be perfect targets. Ran up along the left flank, and found one guy unloading a hopper of paint onto a bunker, I slowly crept up behind him, 20 yards or so and squeezed a shot into his back. He turned around and looked at me thinking I was one of his teammate, before he could say anything, I reached and pulled my pink flag tied behind my mask to show him I was band. Thats one. Moved up a couple yards more and saw SIX enemies behind a bunker exchanging shots with my team. I ran up about 15 yards behind them, pumped, shoot, pump shoot...5 shots and 5tags then i felt a shot hit in my left elbow. I was tagged out and the ref quickly came to shield me from being shot by my own team. The ref was screaming "Dead man dead man!" and my own team finally stopped shooting at me, but the 5 guys I shot were still there because one of the girls was down on her knees holding her throat. I apparently shot her in the throat and she was coughing and swearing at me, I swear I was aiming at her chest but it must of been higher than I thought and she took one in the throat. I apologized to her and her boyfriend, who could barely see me with his goged lense. The guy from my own team came rushing over to apologize, that he didn't know I was on the same team.
A quick note, if you are band, wear one behind your mask and some in the FRONT so your own teammate don't shoot you if you get deep inside enemy lines.
I love my Phantom and it was shooting awsome, the accuracy is unbeatable but I just have to remember that my tactics must change from semi-style to pump-style.
Awsome day! I had a blast!
