I need a really quiet barrel on my Phantom for those night games. In the dark hearing becomes your most important sense. I want to take shots from 75+ feet without being found. And no, I'm not a "sniper"
Your best bet would be to go with a longer barrel that has lots of porting.

Try to find a 32* whisper barrel. You can get one from Paintballgear.com for about 40 bucks, and they shoot really well. I borrowed my friend's once and it was really quiet and very accurate.

I've got a tippmann 98c and Ive been lookin' for a quiet barrel too. Right now I have the 8 1/2" stock barrel and the 16" tru flight barrel.
How about the Armson stealth?
I could use some suggestions on quiet barrels and the paint that they shoot best.
Thanx
By the way - Hey Morbid_obesity - I have a Talon too, How is your modified??!

get a 2k2 all american, they are very quiet and accurate with a good paint/barrel match, i find that rps premiums and great american paintballs work good

what you want is a 14inch All American. it has all the accuracy and quietness you can pack into a barrel...

armson stealth is by far the quietest barrel out there...
but the gun also is a factor... a cocker is a lot quieter than a tippy...
