LP and Porting??

I heard somewhere that if you are running low pressure you should use a barrel without porting. My Tippmann is running at about 300psi. Would a non ported barrel be good for me? I'm also worried about how quiet my gun is. If anyone can help me out here that would be great.

having an unported barrel will allow you to run at a bit lower pressure because the ball will require a bit less air to get up to the desired speed.

What you want is a barrel with 8-10" of unported and sealed length. Look for a 1 piece barrel that fits that description, and you should be fine (Teardrop, Progressive, J&J Ceramic are a few that come to mind).

u could try the lapco bigshot, not much porting there...

a cp 1piece would be a good choice, they are not lout yet have a small amount of porting. Check them out, id say go for a 12-14 depending on how you play.
