I thought I would stop by and share this with everybody. I have seen some posts about drilling and tapping 12g CO2 cylinders. I tried it today and the results were less than safe. The wall of a 12g is way to thin. Any fitting screwed in to it would more than likely be torn out when charged.
With that said I made my own CA adapter out of a 3/4" round solid billet of steel. Tapped the bottom to 1/8"npt installed and charged it. Leak free and works great. Could accept a bottom line or remote line.
I hope this helps someone.
