I would like to go often, but isnt the price for paint for a day and field charge alot? Like 1000 balls + full day field would be 55 where I live, and thats alot each time IMO. Do you all have jobs or suggestions on how to save money?
( ive got to get a job :D)

yea... jobs help... and cars don't...(insurance, gas, damnit)
i go whenever i can... last time i went i spent about $170 on playing and stuff for my gun...
i fire lots of paint... and paint costs money...something i'm normally short on...
but... save your lunch money... and lock it up... so you can't spend it...then you actually have some money... although i always manage to get into my money for other crap...:(

i try to play as often as i can. I save up all the money i can for paintball and i try to sucker out as much money from my friends and parents as i can. Doing that will help you a lot. With that i get to play like 2-3 times a month and its great for me.

At one point I went Friday, Saturday, Sunday and any other day, or I drilled every day for at least two hours in the first two years of the sport to get good.
But now I go whenevr I can.
No, the cost of play has gone down since my father used to play. It's just that skill and accuracy have gone down along with prices.
I can play with a PGP for around $10.00 for a day. Pack of 12 gram powerlets for $2.50 and 200 rounds runs me $7.50 or around that.
I avoid fields because the level of skill existing there in woods play does not challenge me, 9/10 it's actualyl a speedball course with trees which turns me off, not enough room to hunt, snoop and poop.

I wish my field was byop but its field paint only and i gotta pay upwards of $65 to play for a day. Wish i could get some friends to play woods ball but there is really no place close to play and we are far from organized.

I end up going 3 times every 2 months..and then, I wait for the days when the field I goto has $5 admission specials instead of the usual $20.

My field- 35$ entrance, 110$ Case of paint.
My solution- play outlaw.
Order a case of seconds paint, and i play once every 2 weeks. That is i if can get to a place that fills air tanks...

I buy paint at the shop that owns the field: its like $10 cheaper, and since I'm on a team sponsored by the shop, the field and air are free to me. tee hee... o\oh and I try to go every sunday, but church cuts that short, and I go out f town sometimes so I'd say 3 times a month.

I have a full time job and an Ebay business so I'm probably not in the same boat as you guys...but I play all day on Sunday's (sometimes on Saturday as well ... it depends if my girlfriend has other plans...). I usually pay the $12 field fee and $60-70 for Marballizer, Evil or Inferno paint. I get discount airfills but that usually works out to about $3 a fill..times two or 3 fills a day. Tack on $5-10 for lunch and soft drinks and I'm up there. So...all said and done...I'm usually around $80-90 for one day out...more like $150 if I go out twice. I'm lucky that Pevs is a BYOP field and not a Field Paint only location.
