Ordering a Nasty Got some Questions

ok i plan on ordering the base nasty impulse. how long about does it take to ship?

also when they send it do i have to make any adjustments such as dwell etc? i also have my own maxflow tank(recently purchased) and im wondering if i can just put in the low pressure spring? i heard on old ones that you need to use a different piston but i didnt hear anything about that for newer ones also when you look at the blue to black fade the grip is teal and the black portion looks like a really dark teal sort of is that just the picture?

Well, to find out about shipping, I'm sure the store can give you a better estimate, so call them.

As for the MaxFlo, it's going to come with a Max-flo regulator so you can think about what you want to do with that. If you're gona sell it, if it's a horizontal, I'll gladly take it off your hands :-D. Only if you offer it to me for free... I'm po.

And with the fading, I'm sure it's just the picture because, well, it's a picture on the internet and your looking at it with your monitor, which, unless you're job is graphics, probably isn't color calibrated so the colors might be more blue or more red than "real".

Also, I'd call and make sure they have the anno you want avaliable. Some people have wanted certain anno schemes and couldn't get it because they were back ordered. Just a FYI.

eh i just plan on getting the gray anno cant afford anything and i want it for the next tournament in a couple weeks(hence why i asked about shipping :) ) also i think im gunna give the regulator to the person im selling my autococker to so he doesnt have to buy a new one.

Cool. Calling them is your best bet. To make sure it's all in stock and stuff like that. I know most shops have a hard time keeping stock like that, esspecially the custom bodies from smart parts, even the matte annoed ones.

Have you looked into the rat? Cause for $650 you can get a Rat with LPR!! How much does a base nasty cost? $625? Unless you like the nasty milling better, I kno I do, but I rather have the LPR kit. :)

EDIT: i think i might have changed my mind. i might get a rat however i want it in that gray high luster finish :) and how much better is an LPR than tapeworm etc that comes on the nasty?

On your Max flo-- If you get the Impulse with a bottom line reg (as opposed to a vertical reg) all you do is move the reg from the gun to the tank. The end result is a Low pressure Max flo at no additional cost to you.

On shipping- PBW is extermaly fast on shipping and in an area where UPS gets out quicker. End result is that you will often get the marker in as little as 2 days.

As far as setup- you will get the gun the way it left the Smart parts factory. This means they will air it up and check the reg and set the dwell to their "normal" dwell. You will be switching regs and will be using N2 so its a good bet that you will want to readjust the dwell.

On the Rat-- Same thing goes for the Max flo. On shipping- Rats are built to order, setup, and tested. That takes a couple of days longer so its a good bet that you will have to wait 4-5days from when you order the Rat.

You can get a couple of differnt low rises. The Demonic is a great low rise-- its just a pain getting them. Tez runs out of them then takes 2 months before he has more. The NW low rise is realy a nice deal. this uses 2 o-ring to keep the hoppe in place and that simple little o-ring deal REALY WORKS!. THe problem with NW is that they make a low rise for the timmy/bushy/tribal. this is the same thread as the impulse- but it won't screw in all the way because it binds on the impulse body. They make a second feed that is JUST for the impulse. You have to make sure you get the one that is made JUST for the Impulse. We had a lot of fokes very unhappy until we found this out. If you order the Rat with the NW, it will be the correct one and it will be instaled for you.

lol i just realized is only 25 more for it and its got more stuff on it and is set perfectly when i get it which is something i suck at. im still not sure if i can get it however my dad's simmering on the idea of selling my cocker to my friend for $600(its got $800+ in it new and its exactly what he wants so its not like its that big of a problem) besides if i win the tournament we get 3 2k1 vert feed cockers anyway.

alright final question. i want the high luster 2 tone gray finish with LPR. i also want with it the under tow bolt and a low rise(any i dont really care as long as it isnt pug fugly) with 12 inch aa front on the freak with 691 insert. how much exactly would this cost?

So close to another nasty buyer!:( O well, the rats r pretty cool tho (at least he went with an imp), but i think the rat milling is kinda girly-ish looking (no offence to u guys at EPBO, u guys r great). Thats why i decided on the nasty, even tho u get more for about the same price with a rat. But whateva floats ur boat, man. Good luck wit ur imp!:D

Agreed. I like the nasty milling better than the Rat. But, my favorite Imp milling goes towards the Toxic and the Strange. The reason why the rat would be a better buy is cuase
A)you can get the LPR kit and the rat for $650.
B)The Rat's can be customized more.

And i'm pretty sure that Nasties don't come with LPRs or have an option for it. So if you wanted an LPR, I would guess you have to soend $50 more, so prolly $725? Nastys are $625 base right?

Last off topic thing i am gonna ask: What is the vertical adapter thingy on the project LPR rats and where can i get one? the reason is that I want to get a toxic valve cap and not have to tap it for the LPR. I figure a toxic cap will raise my guns sexiness level at least 10 points if nothing else.:crazy:
