Source for butt plates???

I need some butt plates for STEEL 12oz tanks, but I am only finding them for aluminum. Anyone know a source?

did you find a steel 12 ounce tank? if it's the same size as an alluminum tank, then just get the 12 oz. alluminum butt plate.
But it my reccomendation, i wouldn't sugest that you even get a butt plate at all! they get stuck on your shoulder
too much if you play speed ball, but if you play in the woods they might be alright.

to find more steel ones than aluminum ones. The steel ones are a little smaller in diameter than the aluminum ones. I play primarily recball and my field is woods/obsticale.

I've never seen a steel tank! guess i just don't look hard enough. If you can't find a 12 oz. steel one, then buy a 12 oz. alluminum one, rap your tank with some electrical or duct tape and fit it to your butt plate that should hold it REAL good!

the steel ones are older, and rounded at the bottem, so the but plate might not fit it. Do u mean the chromoly ones, or are they the same thing?

If it is a chromoly tank the tank will be smaller than the aluminum. Just wrap electrical around it like someone said in a previous post.
