What do you guys think about the big daddy barrel? I know it isn't made anymore, but I really want to pick it up for the automag I'm getting.
What I like about it over the new "two piece" barrels that are so popular nowadays is that there is no porting for about the first 10" of the barrel. So there's much more room for the paintball to accelerate before the porting. Also, there's enough porting at the end to quiet the shot down to almost nothing. The barrel is all one piece so it's perfectly honed and you don't have to worry about pieces not matching up, or the ball possibly catching on the seam where the 2 pieces meet. Of course, it's a small bore so it'll match up with the paint I use perfectly as well.
The question I want to know is, am I right in my thinking?
