Is the Vision Eye Worth It--Much "Imput" Needed Please

I'm kind of getting back into paintball but I need to update my knowledge base on the sport again.

Is the Vision Eye Worth it or can I do something else to the gun that is more cost effective to stop the amount of ball chops.

I heard if you get a Halo or another high end rev, that might stop the problems of having so many ball breaks. I don't know how that relates but that's what I heard?????

PS I heard that the board might help also, once again please explain why.

Well, good to hear your getting back, but there are a lot of threads like this. Try a search. But yea, I personally got an Evolution 2 as opposed to getting the Vision board. Evo2's run about $60 at www.paintballgateway.com and www.pbgear.com Or you can get a Halo for about $110? So yea, it's really up to you.

I got a Halo-B, and I don't chop under normal circumstances. What i mean by this is that I will never chop as long as the gun isn't tilted too far to either side. But, If I am firing while holding my gun at a sharp angle, it chops every once in a while. This is why I plan to buy an eye in the near future. So, if u already have a revvy and ur imp is vision ready, I'd say go with an eye. But if not, go with an egg2 or a halo-b.

Ask you self this. Are you playing back? If so you wont be doing any odd angels with the gun so you should just get the Halo B, you'll never chop. But of course if your playing Front to Mid your going to be doing a lot of weird angels and such leaving room for chopping even if you had the Halo B or the Fugly Egg.

What? The egg is MAD SEXY! If you look at it on your marker, it actually looks pretty nice. From the front or the side, has a really unique look. Plus I doub mid players would be shooting weird angels, probably only front players.

I got a vision impy and the eye works great. Its stopped me from chopping paint numerous times. At first it feels kind of awkward cuz your like...why isnt my gun firing but then you realize that it just saved you from chopping. Anyways, the eye works great. I still have chopped a few balls but that may not be due to the eye. I'm pressure sure its due to the fsdo on impys cuz many times its my first shot that breaks. My friend has an Egg and wow its fast. I dont think its possible to outshoot the egg...My friend has a vapored and custom boarded bushy and he cant do it. Both are good upgrades. Pick which one you think will fit your needs (Vision makes your gun worth a lot more in trade). Hope this helps. Later.
