I am going to be recieving my Impulse soon and was wondering what type of N2 tank I should put on it? Since it comes stock with the Maxflow I wouldn't need a adjustable tank like Air America's right? Since the Maxflow on the Impulse is 3000 psi can I only use 3000 psi tanks? And finally what is a good tank for the Impulse?

Thanks

Use whatever tank you want.... 3000 or 4500 psi. The tank has a reg on it that puts out 850psi. PMI, Crossfire, Centerflag... they're all good.

No, you don't need an adjustable.

just about any nitro tank will work on a impulse, especialy with that max flow

So you are saying that I could get a cheap crossfire tank and it would work just as good as a apoc since I have a maxflow. That is SWEET. I was looking at the Nitro duck X stream tuffskin tanks, they look awsome. What is the point of getting the 4500 maxflow then?

Thanks

the main problem is how there gonna fit on the max flow, you might need to do an o ring trick (do a search)

Get a 68/4500 PMI Tank, they are wicked light.

The maxflo regulators come stock with all Impulses except the Pythons (don't ask here, do a search). This is not the MaxFlo air system. Smart Parts also puts out HPA systems called MaxFlo's becasue they use the Max Flo regulators. They are the same regulator, but on the HPA system the reg acts as the valve. The Max-Flo on your impulse has ASA threads and needs have a screw in HPA tank or one with an on/off valve. The reason they have the 4500 MaxFlo's is because it's a tank and just a max-flo for use on ANY marker, just like an angel air or an apoc. The tank is fixed to the Maxy and yeah... I'm tired so I'm gona stop because I think i'm repeating myself/making no sense. I'm sure someone else can take what I wrote and try to make it ledgable.

Short version: the 4500 is an HPA system like an Apoc, The tank goes straight into the reg(hence the fill nipple and on/off on the maxy for the 4500). A normal Maxy takes a pre-set screw in like a PMI/Crossfire/Centerflag.

Be warned: if you buy a cheap centerflag or something, you ARE double regging the airflow, and the quality of the regulation is dependent on BOTH regs, not just the MaxFlo. an FYI for you.

Get a 45/5000 PMI nitro tank..... THEY are wicked light!( and get almost as many shots as a 68/45 in my imp)

But, i can't use it right now cuz i stripped the threads on where the burst disk goes in:( Gonna have to pay 200 bux to fix it..... and the sad part is, i only paid 220 for the whole thing. If u all excuse me, i am gonna go bang my head against a wall.
