If that's a new style all american you'll get a great looking barrel that performs great too. Otherwise you'll get a great barrel that's a bit ugly--well not that bad but not as cool. But for the money totally go for it either way those are awesome barrels. (Although I hear lapco is the single most accurate on the market I also hear it's really loud. All American is SOOOO quiet and from personal experience, very accurate.)

You are wrong, the all american and teardrop will shoot the exact same.

So which one is quieter, AA or Teardrop?

Bigshot is better, but you can't find an AA for that price anymore. Considering this thread is from 2001, I'd say it's pretty dead.

Well seeing as you have a 98c, I would say Big Shot.

The Big Shot is more accurate by far. Since your gun is already extremely loud(and there is nothing you can really do about it) it's pointless to get a quiet barrel with noticeably less accuracy.

If you had a gun that was quiet, I might lean towards a barrel with lots of porting (not an AA though- Ultralite is just better).
