isn't it strange how the tippman carbine has been seemingly forgotten about. these are great guns and just because an altered version of it came out (pro-carbine) doesn't mean its inferrior. far from it i would say, after all its obviously a good enough gun to inspire a company to make a newer version of it. its especially weird how some so called advanced paintballers bad mouth it when in fact they have either never shot a round through a carbine or even in some cases seen a carbine in use, also if they are really so advanced wouldn't they know that tippys are primarily for begginers and to a lesser extent intermediate paintballers, thus making their opinions very biased. please post replies of your opinions.

Either that or the first one sucked and they made another because it was a good idea, just with all the problems fixed...

My opinion is this. There was this guy that just made fun of me for using a tippmann, when I know for sure that him and his "teamates" were using 68 Carbines up until last year when they tried selling me them.

Oh wait, i forgot to say my opinion. Some of these tournie players forget that they started out the same way, and think that they're mighty sh*t cause they dont shoot them.

Well, all i can say is that i have worked on 3 and i found them utterly impossible to take apart lone aless shoot or fix.....
By the way, I have a year of experience on Tippmanns, I'm not an idiot......

I know some people have trouble with tippmans, but I could take them apart blindfolded and put them back together. I even know how to take apart the d*mn valves.

well the carbine was a good gun from what i have heard, but it jsut needed some modifications, so they released a better version, jsut liek cockers, look at all the changes they have went through but still kept close to the same design

I have a friend who had a 68 Carbine and he said that it was the worst gun he ever had. So I agree with xavier, they probably did make a new model because the old one sucked.
Oh, and roadw, can you please watch the profanity, it offends some people;) .
