Ok, I can't adjust the ANS reg. What seems to be the problem? It seems like it's loctited in or something. What to do? Could it have come already setted perfectly?

I doubt it was sent set up perfectly, because it needs to get broken in. Check the tourney lock screw (its small)

Shouldnt be. Maybe the knob is all the way in ? can you turn it either direction ?

"The Jackhammer is fully adjustable and with the twist of a knob, the pressure required to cock the gun can be increased or decreased!"

if you can see any of the thread look on along the seam of the adjuster and the regulator and see if you see any red green or blue stuff

Nope, the threads do seem all the way in though. I tried turning both ways, no luck.

Crick.

did you try turning it ... harder

.. as hard as my whee hands can go!

How do I set everything up?

I want to run at around 220-240 PSI. So do I just restart the dwell, then move it up 1 point. Adjust the maxflo to 220, and then try and adjust the ans reg til i get desired velocity?

try using one of those sticky pad things that you can use on jar lids to get em off.

Im not sure about how to set it up, if you did a search im sure you could finds multitudes of info (or more threads that tell you to do a search :D )

get an adjustable wrench or pliers or something(preferable a wrench) and twist it like hell but make sure you do it in the correct direction

Son of a... Crick, now I need your adress so I can send you $10... Although I didn't use a rag, so It cancels out. :D The rag just kept sliding.. so I took it off and it worked!! Yay!! Too bad the cocker hose is too short and I can't go to the store today. :( When I unscrewed the whole thing, there were like these black stiprs in the coil? That really baffeled me. Is that like the sides or something stripped off when I unscrewed it?

then yeah, you probably started stripping something in there. Be sure and screw it back in with some loctite. You should have tried heading the connection before you used brute force. Anyways... Why did you take it off in the first place?

Because thats the knob for me to adjust the LPR pressure.. it was like at the max, so I had to use brute force, well not really, just a wrench, and moved it out. Now I can adjust it since its not ALL the way in.

Crick.
12-04-2002, 05:36 PM
You were talkin about the reg adjuster cap right loner ?
You took that all the way out ?
Does it screw in and out okay ? If not ... you dont know me :paranoid:

sorry to hear about that cocker hose

you have a mag blade trigger ? or just a mag ? maybe that black stuff was some sort of sealent so the air wouldnt get out ?

Loner4life164

Yea it screws in and out perfectly now. I guess before it was all the way in, to the max!! Im just worried about what i stripped, cuase that really got me worried.. seing black strips or something in the spring.

Crick.
12-04-2002, 05:40 PM
well if the LPR is in secure, and the knob goes in and out okay i think it should be okay, did you get the strips out of there
