wassup guys. I'm trying to decide whether to get the Free Flow cocker, the Dark cocker, or the RT Mag pro. I'm getting a 68 cu. inch 4500 psi Nitroduck system with it, but im haveing a real dilema on which gun to get. I'm leaning more on the cocker, and i don't want to get an electro gun at all.

The FF.
I would suggust over that though is getting a stock cocker and upgrading it. It will perform much better and will be custom to fit your needs. Even though free flows are nice and have good parts on them, they still do have some stock parts and some of the parts they put on are not the best imho.

STO's are nice but all your really geting is a little better than stock barrel, ano and milling.

it's becasue i really don't want to go through all the trouble of things like trigger jobs, custom ano, new frames..etc etc etc...i just want a really good gun and just change maybe the pneumatics...which one is cheaper FF or DC?

Richy_C

DC.

A cocker might not be the gun for you if you don't want to upgrade it. Part of the joy of a cocker is getting every little part different and the gun being your own creation.

They way I look at it is that free flows, DC, ect are the lazy mans cocker.

A dark and a ff are essentially the same gun except the body has been changed and the bolt and valve are different other than that everything is almost the same

tl go here i agree with Counterfeit. go for something you can customize. i mean if you what to make it easier in the long run get an unfinished body or a center feed body. i like the side feed personaly but puting 700 to 800 out for a cocker of the bat is a bit much unless u like and no everthing the gun has to offer. but most important with pb guns is to get the one that makes you feel good so if a ff does go for it who cares what me and Counterfeit think.

i REALLY like the Image cocker, and it still has room to be customized, so i'm going to get that one. ALso, it's not too shabby on looks. I don't like vert feed cuz it blocks my vision..:D

If you really like the looks and features go for it. From what you said it does have some really good parts stock.

Timing is very easy.

Like I always say if you treat your cocker right it will treat you even better. Just take the time to learn all the parts in the gun and what they do and you will be fine.

hrmm..why do you have to time a cocker? im not a newie..i just dont' have much expirience with cockers..all the one's ive used were alrady timed

TLplus84

Well are you familar with how they oporate?

I assume you don't. A cocker has to fire, than re pump (cock) itself all in one trigger pull. The front pnuematics are what recock the gun. You have to have the hammer lug and 3-way set up right so it does not cock before it can fire or vice versa.

That may have just confuse you so the best explanation for timing is here http://www-personal.umich.edu/~rchopra/ goto autococker info sheet. It has all the info on timing and upgrades.

TLplus84

yeah i know how they operate..i just don't get the point of timing..:P

I know hed whoop my *** wit those skullz if i talked crap about his gun) :)
