Well, I would say the simplest one is the center flag hyper frame, though some times it can cost just as much as the ones with electric 3-ways.

I would tell you to go for the E-Blade because I have heard more good things about them, plus 2 more things. Eclipse is already a well known Paintball manufacturer, and the E-blade is included on the 2003 WGP Oracle E-Class.

The electric frame is not a MUST for a autococker. It is for when you have pimped it out to the max and you can not do any thing to it EXCEPT put a electric trigger on. The cheapest trigger I would say would be the Hyperframe, but only if you can find the best deal out there. I have found it for $350 though I forget where. If you do not have lots of cash you do not get a electric frame for your cocker, plain and simple.

Do you have a free flow body, or merlin? Is it low pressure? Body kit(I like the cobra)? Hinge trigger? I see why you want a new one.
Look on ebay, they come up every once and while.
How much do you have to spend on one?

Well for get getting a electronic trigger till you have at LEAST $350, even that would be a steal.
How much have you put in to the gun? How much could you get for it since it is so tricked? Might as well buy a IR3 if you can.

Ok, buy trhe eblade for 355 at www.g3pb.com then sell ur cuerrent frame, and 3 way for whatever its worth and that would be the cheapest frame

they go in order like this

eBlade -- cheapest 355
firestorm -- 2nd 399
9 volt race -- 3rd 399
protech -- 339
race with everything -- 500
centerflag 500-700 (depending on the year ur cocker is)
sandridge -- 800- 1000

Then theres some more custom ones that will run over 1,000 as well.

I got my eBlade a week ago it is not here but it is the best and the cheapest of them all, the 9v race is awsome as well but slightly more expensive.

o, and dont resort to buying one used

1.) They are rarly sold used

2.) They are easily damaged in shipping if not packed right, and if they are being sold used, they probebly wont work.

the body sounds like a plan, but lp and a hinge isn't necessary. if he already has a completely un-stock cocker, then why should he buy something for lp unless its something as cheap as a spring set? also, a hinge isn't a necessity on cocker. there just making it easier for newer players to shoot faster, but its not like the slider was a problem that needed to be fixed. i say keep a good sliding frame, unless your going electro.

People have there prefference on hinge and sliders. I like hinge. I would recommend the Blade(non-electric) trigger, or the newer version of the shocktech trigger.
