This is sort of in rememberance of my best friend who was killed 1 year ago today by a drunk driver  This is the story of the last game that I played with him, and is still to date, my most memorable game.
15 of my friends and I took a weekend trip. My grandmother owns 48 acers of heavily wooded land with an abandoned farm stead close by. We set up camp at the farmsted Friday afternoon, and put up man-made barocades in the corral behind the barn. That night we got a fire going and sat around drinking beer and discussing game plans, gear, women, and other guy stuff. Anyway, my most memorable game that weekend was a capture the flag game in the woods. Jesse and I paired up and took the right side, while 1 took the left, 4 took the middle, and one stayed behind. Well, we where about what we thought was half way to thier bunker, and hadn'y seen anything. Then, in the distance, we heard shots, lots of shot. But we figured the 4 in the middle could handle it, so we tredged on. We made it the the enemy bunker without a sight of anybody very strange. One shot at the bunker and Jesse picked off the gurad. We walked up all cokey to get the flag, and where about 10 feet from the bunker when another player popped up. It was a quick draw, I got hit, he got hit, twice. Quick paint check, the ball that hit me didn't break, but the guard was out. We decided to take the midle section back, there where only a few random shots being fired new, when the guy that took left came to the bunker. Ended up he encountered no one an his journey. we made the journey back to our base, watching for anything. We finally returned to our base to find 6 enemys patrolling it. Nedeless to say, we lost that game. However I'll never forget it.
Please post your most memorable game.
