Hey yo,

I was wondering if when you play paintball, is it worth wearing a lot of layers of clothes to make the pain of being hit by the paintballs not hurt as much. Wearing alot of layers will make it really hot I know, but is it worth it to prevent pain/welts?

It rarely hurts that bad. A t-shirt is usually thick enough.

When it gets hot outside, your chances of getting heat stroke increase exponentially. Paintballs don't hurt that bad especially when you're in the heat of a battle. Take it like a man (or woman) and it'll be ok. Remember that those welts you receive will serve as great visual aids when you're telling your non-paintballing friends about your day at the field!

I think when I played, our velocity was way up because we didn't have anything to check it. That's probably why they hurt so much.
