Well I currently have a BD Basic, pretty much stock,Im 14 and I am starting tourneys this year, anyway! I was wondering If it would be a good reliable fast gun? I play Mid so it being light is a plus, I have seen the reviews on it but I just wanted some more info... oh and I will be getting nitro but would it work ok on Co2 ? thnx for any help

Your best bet is to upgrade your Dragun with some nitro and a motorized hopper first, then buy the BKO. It won't run well on CO2 unless you double reg it, which will cost more than a preset HPA. You can wait till the end of the winter/start of spring to purchase your marker, since there are no/few tourneys during this season.

Yeah totally what creeper said. Unless you can fork up cash for an HPA, bottomline, macroline, and a motorized hopper all at once, I would stick with the BD and upgrade it with a an HPA and a motorized hopper before slapping down cash for the BKO.
As for the BKO, it will be a great mid players marker. I use a B2K and have used a BKO while playing mid (my posistion) and I have had great results with them. I have a large drop forward on my marker and it keeps everything balanced and tight. Playing mid requires you to pull up and play front from time to time so being able to stay tight is something you need to be able to do. The BKO does this perfectly with it's small profile and light weight. Mid players must also be able to shoot a hail of paint in certain situations and the BKO is the one to do it with. That sucker can throw out about 14 balls per second. It's crazy fast.
I would recommend getting the BKO because of it's price to performace ratio. It's a great first tourney marker.

I already have a Rik 2k and nitro was already on my agenda for my dragun...... as for the macro line and bottomline, that shouldn't be too much should it ?

"nitro was already on my agenda" There is a big difference between having it already and it being on your agenda. A BKO is def a good choice, but if you're happy with your BD, keep it for a while, and save your money. Then get a B2K3 with PDS.
Some upgrades for your BD you can use for your BKO/Bushy-
Freak Kit (200)
Cradle (80)
Nitro (190)
Good Harness (50)
I would get everything but the Freak Kit before I got my BKO.

I was planning on upgrading my BD...I love the thing I just didnt know if it would be tourney worthy, thats why I asked if I should get one or not.......I mean I dont wanna go out and upgrade my BD and then not having enough fire power.....but the BD is rated at 13BPS so....I guess it should be fine.

What's wrong with your BD? I would keep it and upgrade it until its reached its full potential. I have seen some very nice BD's. Once your done with your BD you will have everything you need to run you bko well, but by that time you might decide on something better, like a b2k3.

If you don't have the money for:
1. The gun, duh
2. A nitro tank, your baby needs to drink
3. A good hopper, your baby needs to eat
4. Drop/Asa, your baby needs to look good while holding the tank on.
If you can't do these things then you don't deserve a Bko, :P
