1. How much difference do they make?

2. How much sound do they make, and when do they make it?

3. Difference between a 12v and a 9v version?

1. if u are having problems with chopping balls get one, helps out tremendously
2. they do tend make alot of noise when u run out of ball; correct me if im wrong someone
3. 12v is much better, u r just better off spending a couple more dollars for it; 9v uses one battery, 12v uses two batteries, utilizes more power

You say noise when empty.. Now empty as in hopper has 0 balls left..or as in empty and needs to cycle more balls in place?

they make a little noise when they are empty(no balls left) cause the motor runs. you can just turn it off though. 5 feet away you cant hear it, so its not like it will give you away.

If you have a 98 and RT you'll need a revvy, so it is sorta suitable for a blowback forum. Well, not the best excuse but it's an example of an exception.

A revolution hopper really helps. I have a spyder and it made a world of difference for me. The only noise it makes is a buzzing from powering the agitator inside. There is a sensor in the bottom which senses when there are no balls feeding and starts the motor. There isn't a lot of difference between 9v and 12v. My 12v said it could feed 10-12 a second and I think 9v is only a few less than that.

Yes, a Revolution hopper can be used with a Spyder. Yes, Spyders are blowback markers.

revvy hoppers are nice. Especially if you shoot fast. But if your a newbie you prolly dont need one.

bah! I could rip when i was a newbie:)
I think newbies need them just for the sake of it takes them forever to clean a break if it does happen, becuase they are not one with the squegee yet.....hehehe:)

I'm gonna get alot of **** for this, but I have a winchester durango and I break a ball once in a great while (not a joke, in a five-hundred round bag I only cut seven) but I don't clean it out. After a shot or two, it cleans itself out. I've probably committed some attroutious crime, but I saw no problem. I clean it when I'm done shooting.

7 out of 500 is a lot of ball breakage. Are you chopping the balls, or are they breaking in your barrel?

If you get a Revvie, it will probably help.

Higher end markers do not work without a revvy. There is so little recoil that the balls do not jar loose, and even firing slowly over the chronograph doing adjustments is not slow enough to prevent a jam. High end markers just plain need revvies or you'd be shaking your marker every 3 shots
